DDR bug has hit hard

Hmmm... I can name Stephanie, Kara, KicksTheSky (Kristin), Sparty's wife Dana, Magnum Dan's better half Maria, Natalie...

You must play in the wrong places. :)

Either that or they leave when they see you coming. Sorry. Punch line just dangling there, a inch from my nose...

Robodud was over the other day blasting out seven and eight-step songs no problem, so they certainly respond the way they should.

Well, Robodud makes me physically ill when I watch him play. It's even worse when I try to keep up! This kid came "this close" to passing a "Catastrophic" at Swings-n-Things saturday night just before we left. It was wild. He took his shoes off and just had at it.

The only problem I've had with my pads so far is that the foam seems to get squished down really easily. Down the road you may want to consider replacing the foam with a little more dense stuff. Other than that the pads are still great.

They have had my recommendation since I got them, and they still do. Just don't step on the plastic housing the circuit board, it'll crack easily.

If I'm not mistaking, the Red Octane 2.0 pads have a more dense padding and thicker plastic buttons for the arrows. I think Kara (STC hick) has them.

One thing to keep in mind is that you cannot place any type of DDR mat on a soft, thick carpeted surface. Our mats are showing alot of wear since they were placed on think carpeting. They also didn't respond well. Once we put them on the new berber carpet they responded much better.

Hey Playa ... (insert obscene gesture). ;)

Actually, I *hope* they leave when they see me coming.... more play time for me, and I'm married so what do I care? :)

Den that is a sweet-azz pic for your profile! The Bat at PKI? I wish I could have ridden that. Anyways has anyone else plyed the other games in the DDR series like Dance Maniax, Guitar Freaks, and Para Para Paradise? Those are all sweet games too... and they are easy to pick up on if you are good at DDR. It's like a whole new game!

...laughing at Robodud's new moniker for Kara....didn't know she was that big on Shoot-The-Chutes....or that she was a "hick"....oh, the things you learn here at "the buzz"...;)

Hey, my SON plays DDR. What "type" are you referring to? BTW, I play DDR...or don't "old" females count?

CPLady - I was referring to nerds. Your son is the exception of course. ;) ;)

And I've never *seen* you play, have I? Because you never invite me over anymore! ;)

See? That's why you chase all the ladies away. So charming with that sparkling wit and everything.

I woulda said something like "All FOUR of yo mommas", popped on my Ray-Bans and strolled off into the sunset.

At least it seems to work for NoLimitChic...

Playa - let's settle this on the DDR floor. (cackles to self) Wait, you live in Chicago or something, right? Well - let's just pretend we settled it on the DDR floor and I destroyed you. Yee-eh.

No, I do not live in Chicago. Please check your Guide to CoasterBuzz's Black People. You have me confused with 2Hostyl, only he doesn't live there either.

His dad Curt does--and I think he has a little something around his waist you could use in a Pootie Tang: The Movie sort of way.

You're absolutely right - I had you confused with 2Hostyl's dad, Curt. Me and Curt go way back. I remember hanging out with good ol' Curt at his place in ... CHICAGO. Yep, the Windy City. Good ol' Curt. (/sarcasm)

(sarcasm again) How do you know I didn't confuse you with Chitown? (/second round of sarcasm)

Uhhhh....because you clicked on Chitown's INFO before you said something that dumb?

And no, I'm not letting you have your quote back.

Step in anything else today and we'll have to name you Turd Boy...but you'll have to ride in the trailer with Moosh.

Can anyone tell me just what Playa is implying? Or what the heck he's even talking about??

I don't remember where I put the Guide to CoasterBuzz's Black People... can you send me a link?

Captain Obvious sez:

Talk about walking right into it...

What do I have to do? Draw you a picture? Give you a tutorial? How much plainer can I say 'click on Chitown's info?'

See that little line of text right on the same line with the posters name? In the middle there that says (Info) (Edit) (Quote)? See, if you click on info sometimes you get a happy little picture of the poster. If you stare at them long enough, they might wave at you, too. Really. I swear.

Anyway, since I want to keep your attention long enough for you to get the joke.....this is Chitown, this is me. Separated at birth? I don't think so. Confuse one for the other? You'd have to be the first.

You two look more similar once you've both started waving....how do I get you to STOP?....

If I'm Cap'n Obvious, you're my sidekick.

When I said maybe I confused you with Chitown, the implication was that Chitown obviously lives in or near Chicago. That was the joke. I didn't take into account what color either of you were.

Settle down, hoss. Sheesh. I'm going home now.
