CP's coaster to be announced this week

According to the Plain Dealer, CP's new secret coaster will be announced this week sometime.

Notice that it says "...nearly 400 feet tall." That's not 420 feet tall.

Maybe they're just downplaying the height so the CP press release is actually worth it.

If they aren't in conjuction with CP, why would they give a crap about "helping" them?

Downplaying my ass. They don't care about "helping" CP. Nearly 400ft, that is hilarious.

Will you guys still be denying it won't be over 400ft when the press release comes out.

...why not build it just 1 inch *shorter* than S:TE...;)

They should build it an inch shorter to prove, once and for all, that they are *not* competing with SFMM. :)

A day is a drop of water in the ocean of eternity. A week is seven drops.

They're crazy, they need to build it much taller. Once it starts sinking like Magnum......

But, Peabody, CP just doesn't have the *space* to build it any taller!

They may not be competing with SFMM, but this coaster is obviously one for the record books. It's like they said, "How can we add to our coaster count and grab two world records (height/speed) using the least ammount of space and money possible?"
As if S:TE was a 6,700 foot full-circuit coaster and CP's on the cheap...

Nearly 400? Whatever...

DELETED!

Even if the ride was under 400 feet, its drop would dwarf S:TE's smaller (328'1") drop--to say nothing of the fact that everyone gets to experience the full height.

The CPlaya 100--6 days, 9 parks, 47 coasters, 2037 miles and a winner.....LoCoSuMo.

I wish I could care less about it being the "tallest". Anyone who cares if it's the tallest should really rethink their obsession with coasters.

It's gonna be the bombshot, and I'm gonna make the trip again to CP this year just for it.

Hey it's in print...and on the internet - it HAS to be correct, right? ;)

At the very least this should be good example of how the press in general can be inaccurate.
