Scratch it. SFGAm has too many coasters the kiddo can't ride. 6 out of 11 she can't ride just won't do.
I will admit that is one downfall of this park. They have to many coasters with a 54" height requirement. Probably more than any other park.

I should add that we need a couple dozen more people to register, and do it soon. If not, I won't make my minimum of 80 people and I'll be paying out of pocket. That's not much fun.
Both me and my wife would love to attend.... however, I cannot get the time away from work.... what a shame. Any other day other than Saturday would work. It just figures.
All my employees know what a coaster nut I am and if I even considered calling off of work I'm sure I'd get busted!
Best of luck in getting the minimum # of participants met. I'm sure you will get the support you need.

I was planning on attending with a few friends, but a family situation has come up that is causing quite a few of my coaster plans (Con, possibly SRM) to go down the drain. I'd sign up if I could, but I can't commit to being there. I'll probably be in Pittsburgh.

Lumpy, good to know about hotwire. Only way to know what hotel they'll give you before hand is from other user's reports. So thanks. A friend that works for a travel agency can get me a room there for $60, so hotwire is pretty darn good. I've never actually completed a hotwire transaction. No problems?
Sorry, even more off topic, can anyone recommend good places to look, shop and eat in Chicago? Since off topic, feel free to email me instead.

Well, for shopping, Gurnee Mills is right on the other side of the tollway by Six Flags. Its a huge mall with everything you could want.
For Chicago itself, I would recommend for places to see: Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum(which has the biggest complete dinosaur named SUE), Museum of Science and Industry, Sears Tower sky deck, Navy Pier, Lincoln Park Zoo. Plenty of other things to do in the city but the ones mentioned above come to mind.
