Well the deadline has come and passed- I sent my application(with ALL portions filled out, I checked it like 20 times ;) ) more than 3 weeks before the deadline and I just checked my bank statement- my card was never charged. Am I out for sure, and how do I find out if the application ever reached the proper hands? I find it a little frightening that I sent out a piece of paper with my credit card info and it never got processed..

I really need to find out if it's even worth driving out on that day if I don't know if I'm registered.

Yes, my name is Jeff, and last name Will- that is wonderfull news thanks for responding so quickly! This definitely made my day. Cannot wait till Saturday... :)

A few notes for Saturday:

1. Highs in the upper 70s;

2. Lows in the uppers 50s;

3. Construction tour will be dusty (or muddy, depending on the weather over the next few days) and includes some steep hills on gravel--please change into sneakers if you're not already wearing them;

4. Unless we have a large number of on-site registrations (not expected) we're planning one-train operation for both coasters; and

5. Following the meal, we'll have an auction with proceeds going to Hurricane Relief. All sort of junk ... er, treasures ... await!

Geez, now I'm going to have to allow extra cash for auction items. Hrm. Will you take a credit card?

I'm looking forward to experiencing the Legend and Raven on the same day as so many of you who prefer Legend. From my two prior visits, I just don't get it and find Raven to be clearly a better ride. I'm hoping I just haven't caught the Legend on a good day yet and hopefully Saturday will be THE day.

While I love The Legend it's still my #2 behind The Raven but just barely. To get The Legend try seat 1.2 on the left side especially after dark. ;-)

it's all personal taste. Legend is a lot of fun, but it kicks my butt. I can't ride it for long. Raven I could ride all night long. (All night... all night long, all night, all night long, all night, all ni-i-ight, all night long, all night, all niiiight.)
