Cedar Point-Construction?

From the following article linked from Pointbuzz's website:

"The board already has approved its 2006 capital investment plan for new rides and attractions throughout its system of amusement and water parks," Kinzel said.

Michigan's Adventure undoubtedly will receive some attention in the 2006 capital investment budget, but Kinzel said specific items for Muskegon will not be announced until the entire plan is unveiled some time after Labor Day.

It doesn't say that announcements for other parks wouldn't be made sooner, but it looks like we have about 6-1/2 weeks to go before we know anything official.

In addition, from an earlier article (and post in this thread): "Cedar Fair CEO and president Dick Kinzel said originally the park was considering a new water ride for the 2005 season, and that would have been in Frontierland. Kinzel said the park typically likes to keep water rides in one section so guests aren't walking around the park wet".

The article came out when they were announcing MaxAir, which took the place of the "water ride" for 2005.

I think more importantly, it's so people arn't breaking the "no shirt, no shoes" rule. If you had a water ride over by MF for example, do you think people are going to change back into their clothes to walk from forntier land over to MF, then change back into their suits?

Point Extreme has posted photos of alleged construction markings. Honestly, I'm not too sure about the markings as some pics are confusing. Link...http://images.pointxtreme.com/thumbnails.php?album=167
