I thought someone on here mentioned once that Intamin wheel assemblies don't use springs like B&M coasters, but are static. As the ride ages, the assemblies do not grip the track as well as they can, and hence the vibrations.
Ok, nevermind it is true. www.cedarpoint.com Read the top banner when Snoopy is flying across the screen. *** Edited 8/29/2006 8:22:43 PM UTC by cameroncrazy80***
First coaster ride was in 1999. I had no clue what I was missing.

floorless, as in a B&M floorless. Because Intamin would be the higher being in this coaster design. But floorless would be pretty cool, but idk, it'd be cool but at high speeds I couldn't see a floorless, nonetheless there's not enough space for a floorless train, that space where the coaster dives in between the supports is too tight.
So we're pretty sure it's 2 across and not 4 across. I'm a little surprised by that, because CP knows it is a very popular park and needs high capacity rides. Knowing this is an Intamin, could this be a ride similar to Powder Keg or PKI IJST, but with a couple of inversions and by a different company? Possibly make it a family coaster that would be perfect for a kid to experience their first inversions/launch on? Just a couple of more thoughts, because we only have a few days left to guess!

Perhaps, but they don't call it telephone for nuthin!
I would also say that the park was very crowded for a Tuesday - haven't all the kiddies gone back to school?? I expected things to be slow, but it was quite crowded.

I'm not sure if anyone suggested a launched coaster.
What does speed have to do with floorless? Well, this coaster is suppose to be fast, and looks like it's going to hug the track, so I don't think people would want a hair bit of clearance between their feet and the track, speeding at speeds, that they say are going to exceed that of dragster.
ophthodoc- So they've built 4 couting inversions. I was there sunday and there were 2 completed. I was talking to a friend about it, and he said they have a long way before they'll be done, but they are flying through this coaster.
But we know it's going to launch. Where? is the question. I think I should load my pictures now.
and is someone hating on millennium force up there?

The coaster isn't "suppose" to be anything considering that there hasn't been any official announcement yet.
Oh and has anyone tried to decipher the signs surrouding the construction site. Personally, i'd rather figure out what the coaster will be, before they tell us exactly.
