I could careless about my post points I didn't even have a clue as to what my count was until he said I was Noob and I went to check the count to support what I was saying.
Sorry that I, unlike some people hear look for evidence to back my info up. My post count means as much to me as World Cup Soccer. Nothing.
... now before anyone gets all uppity, that was a joke completely independant of any sort of real attack on Tony. But, I am seriously pissed off at any American who is part of the group that won't watch the World Cup and thereby causes the networks to not feel that it's worth their advertising dollar to put it on in Primetime or on non-cable stations where those of us who DO care can actually WATCH IT.
Let's go France ... since Germany's out :(
If it was on in prime time then wouldn't it be delayed since the games are being played in Germany? Would the true die-hard soccer fans really wait until they showed the game on tv to find out how their team did? And if their team lost, would they still watch the game anyway?
You might have an argument for getting the U.S. games on the major networks, but good luck getting most of the U.S. interested in Ukraine vs. Ghana. Most avid baseball fans wouldn't even turn on the tv during the world series if they were between K.C. & Pittsburgh. Most Americans rarely care about other cities teams, much less other countries teams.
Hey, I'd love to see some Aussie Rules football and some International Rugby Union tests available on standard cable instead of special packages and random late night highlight reals on Fox Sports. But I know it's not gonna happen, so I'm not going to harp on it.
But at least Rugby is worth watching! ;)
Go All Blacks!!!

Lol...good luck with that whole, being pissed off at virtually everybody around you thing....
I'm staying out of stupid arguments for now on unless it's in my own defense. I don't need people disliking me. HaHA :-()
I remember watching David Letterman one night and he was flashing scores from the Olympic soccer games and every game said zero to zero.
It's nice to know that people like Incidentalist actually DO care about the game (I think the phrase you were looking for was "could NOT care less").
Anyway, back to Cedar Point's 2007 project...

"You seem healthy. So much for voodoo."
Goalies are bigger AND faster than before, as are athletes in other sports....but the goal is the same size. I guess so are forwards and midfielders, but they need to be able to run ALOT and stuff, goalies just need to have quick reactions in a very small area...just a theory. Widen the goal to increase scoring if you want Americans to care about the game... ;)
I'm betting CP's '07 coaster is NOT soccer-themed... :)
I think we need some vertical construction or tarp-hidden trains (a dead-giveaway to what the coaster would be, and I guess would ruin the fun of guessing) to help focus the attention back to the project '07.
I still wonder if this is going to be "just" a coaster. If it's "project 2007", is there a chance it's more than a coaster, or just that? I guess time will tell...
Here is a conversation starter that I thought of today: How likely is it that the design of Project '07 has anything to do with how it looks in their skyline. Since it is on the Sandusky side of the peninsula, I'm leaning towards a prominent structure that stands out/up enough. Whether it's another tophatish hill or a lift hill is the big question.
