Could it possibly be BM track laying on its side? However most times when you see bm track arrive it normally sits upright so maybe, maybe not. I can't believe im getting suckered into this speculation.:P
"the only thing I know is that life is short and the only time you've got left is luck"
Whatever it is I hope it loops, because i'm getting tired of lets make it 17 seconds but the tallest and fastest, yeah thats a great idea. Make something that will be fun over and over again...RAPTOR is a perfect example like i said in my prior post. If it a looping coaster i have given up on CP because they need to put something that will make ur headspin.
I agree with what has been said before. The hint about "two and two" seems important. Like Eric, I initially thought dueling coaster since there has been internet buzz for years now about a CP dueling coaster. At the same time though pkidelirium's comment is interesting. I remember seeing pictures on the internet just a few months ago detailing Intamin's stab at a 4D coaster. Interesting possibility, although the water ride makes the most sense.
No loops Raptorman. I'm getting old and don't like OSTRs too much anymore. I would however like to see a 4D coaster since it might be years 'til I get out to Magic Mountain.
I think it would make sense.
CP was building a coaster every 2 years or so; they are most certainly due for a new one. I honestly don't think it will be another hyper coaster, but that would be nice.
Just to point out the obvious, why do you think Intamin is still getting business from CP? They majorly screwed up their last product there (TTD) and MF has recently become a sore point due to the restraint issue. I guess Im suprised that CP isnt laying off that company for a while.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
If you find the pictures you will see that its triangular(no I will not give a link to the pictures) *** Edited 5/5/2006 4:31:53 AM UTC by majortom1981***
For some reason, I actually did notice that tarp & stuff over next to Breakers Express.
When Kinzel was asked today about the 'rock garden' and when there'd be an announcement, he replied "Oh no, do you think it's going to be ready for Saturday?!"
That gave me a good chuckle - Whatever it is, it should be good. I think Kinzel is having a little fun with this whole thing. 'Na na na na na naaaaa'
The Intamin Ball coaster track shown in that link is box-track just for a tiny little test-track, I highly doubt they would move to the lower-structural tri-track for a bigger, fuller design. It's a possibility, but a low one at best.
B&M is possible for the shape to the right, but look to the left, with the way the connector (flat circle) and the rail (little circle) are oriented, I doubt it; plus what you said about B&M always sitting on its spine.
No, it could not be Arrow/S&S 4D, there's no way in hell on that one. Shape is completely wrong.
For some reason I'm being ridiculously coastergeeky with this right now and I checked out the pictures of Colossus at Thorpe. While there is a lot of tri-track on that one, very little of it is as straight as the one piece seen in those pictures. I'm beginning to think we might see a custom-design here if anything.

"The path always taken is not necessarily the Best".
I believe this may point to the path leading to the Frontier Trail. The bridge by Snake River Falls has 3 teaser signs about the construction. There are footers everywhere back in the old White Water Landing Area. On our way to Media day for Skyhawk we about drove into the lake when we drove around the back of the park near Mean Streak with all the land clearing and footers everywhere. Whatever it may be, Its going to be huge.
