Certainly not enough of THAT kind of red Intamin track, LOL. But I also HIGHLY doubt the CP track is for a sit-down chain-lift Intamin mega...

That's why I originally thought this couldn't be true. Why get more triangular (or square for that matter) Intamin track. There's no coasters of that track style Intamin makes that CP doesn't have. The idea of an aquatrax never crossed my mind though........interesting.
And yes, there's "stuff" in that containment area next to Breakers Express (as if the "rock garden" in Frontier Town isn't obvious enough).

It might just be a hunch but maybe they are replacing some of TTD's track. Just a thought.
People are saying that it's turn track, where exactly do you see track in there? I see one picture that kind of looks like Intamin triangular-track (pic 5 in that directory), but the rest of the shape of that tarp could be just about anything. That piece could also just be a support for a sign structure, or a column to hold a station platform.
I would say it's a lot more likely that this thing is part of a flat ride, or is a piece of mechanical equipment ... I highly doubt this thing is track, or is anything that could really provide any sort of clue as to manufacturer.
Someone was perceptive enough to recognize the similarities between the tarp last year and Skyhawk's sister ride topper, someone go look at pictures of the top spin at Knotts ... does this tarp match any pieces on there?
Edit: Well I feel like a real ass. I spoke too soon and on further study of the picture that I referenced, that IS coaster track. Oh well, I'll leave my making a fool of myself out there for all to see ;) In case you don't see it, take a look at pic 5, the shape of Intamin tri-track is easily distinguishable on the right, and on the left, you see a similar "pipe" shape at the top left corner of the tarp, and if you follow that "spine" to the "back" of the picture towards Castaway, you can see the flat-circle of a tower connection. Ok, so the question is, what is it ... aquatrax, or 10-looper or something we haven't seen before? *** Edited 5/5/2006 12:34:24 AM UTC by Impulse-ive***
