CBuzz Games...

Saw the attention whoring post and had a thought. First, I hope that the site stays up, I know I enjoy it, but if you do decide to take it down, instead of totally taking it down, make it accessible only to Club Members. I'm not saying you should only make it for Club Members, but if it comes down to it, that would be an option I'd be happy with:)

Just a thought, I love the site, but not the morons:) Besides most of the peeps that I like are members, and i'm sure that some of the major players would join if it came to it anyhow.

Cool, atleast 2 major players and the site god agree:) The site is wonderful in how it works, its a good place to find quality stuff when quality people are posting(KTS, Gonch, and quite a few others), and its easy to navigate. I'd hate to see one of the only good Coaster gaming sites go down, so Hopefully either people will clean up their act, or it comes down to a more streamlined member site:).

I'm starting to very strongly consider making it so club members are the only ones who can post... I see that there's enough interest and it will certainly cut down on the kids who can't use the English language.

I might add that club members already enjoy the site ad-free.

I know I'm not the site's favorite, but I consider myself a decent member. And my parents would laugh at the idea of forking over 20 a month for this. They won't even let me make more then 1 magazine subsription -_- I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd have this problem.

Maybe you can just let a few non/club members in?

For $20? Dude, get a job. If money isn't the issue, than prove to your parents that you're willing to do what it takes to be able to spend it. It really shouldn't be that difficult.

Actually, pinkdoom has a cool idea. Not sure how hard it'd be to impliment, but the "members total access, non-members download only" is something that sounds good to me.

Plus you're less inclined to get stupidity when there's money on the line - even if it is just $20. As it stands there are people there already on their third screen name (ahem$kittlzahem)

It'd put an end to fake screen names for lowballing scores too (assuming only members could rate)

Sounds like a win/win - let me find my credit card...

Ok, 20 a year's much different. I should easily be able to do that.

And on a side note, Jeff, last night I wasn't able to log in, so out of fear that I was banned, I made a new name. I just wanted to know if I was banned or not, so please don't ban me for double accounts.

You can count on my continued support if CBuzz Games is members only.

Also by making the site members only you wouldnt have to get an extra moderator. Most of the regular members on this site don't need moderating for the most part so Lord G would probably be enough even with his moving.

Wow. This is a great idea. I think that this should cut down on a lot of the crap over there. It's gotten so frustrating even visiting that site.

Even if everyone over there joins up to the club, it'd be a great deterrent to them posting stupidity if they know they'd lose their $20 if they screw up and get [sb]DELETED![/sb]

There are so many places to post RCT files, it's nice to know that there is again one where it's about appreciation and community, and not competition.
