Honestly if you do not know, you need to get out more. Sally Corp makes dark rides.

Hay,I live in Wisconsin.I only go to Adventureland once a year.And the closest park that's close to me is Mt. Olympus, and they only have Karts and Coasters.

I'll trade you Adventureland's coasters for Mt. Olympus'. :)

OK. I'm new here (was doing a google for adventureland and "the splash over" since we too got a mailing about season passes)....

Anyway, I thought that it would be nice to put in a "medium kids" (not little kids, but less than pre-teen too) roller coaster. Something for brave 4 year olds up to 15 year olds or something. I was thinking that over between The Outlaw and the Circus. A smaller version of the Outlaw and call it The Lil' Bandit or something. I know that there used to be a kids coaster but that it was pretty unsafe.

I agree that the Dragon is pretty bad. Steel coasters are supposed to be smooth, but that thing is rough. It is uncomfortable and very short in duration. I realize that Adventureland needs to do things in steps, and I look forward to any improvements. Heck, I know that the Sidewider is a good addition, so it doesn't have to be major. Of course, the Inverter should go. You rarely see riders there.

The underground is a great idea, but could be taken to the next level. I mean it woulnd't cost a fortune to redo it (fix the styrofoam rock walls, hide the "behind the scenes" stuff, and so forth. It just doesn't emerse the riders into the story. Heck the old miner during the "pre-show" just moves left and right, but the animatronic guy at the front of the part near the carosel actually has a moving mouth, etc and nobody sees him)... Dollywood in TN has an indoor ride (Blazing Fury) that the Underground should strive to be like.

OK. People might read this and think that I don't like Adventureland. I do. We live just a few minutes from the park and get season passes each year. Our family loves it. As long as they keep up with the new stuff, it will continue to do well.

We should be hearing the announcement very soon now. :)

They keep changing the announcement date. They give a date and then they change their mind. Rather annoying actually. As if the rides they are adding are "HUGE" even for Adventureland.

Oh come on, you know how it works by now. If I tell you and spill the beans then in the future even I won't know. Stop making me look like a jerk. I already told you what I could. Also they changed the announcement date AGAIN. Still awaiting another date. This time it was due to the over abundence of snow.

Ok, now Screamscape is talking about a Moser Maverick (that is similar to a Top Spin) and an S&S Frog Hopper.

All right fine! The second ride coming is a Frog Hopper. Get your plane tickets now. :)

Also I'm not saying a word about Splash Over. Thought I will give you a photo of what a Maverick is.
