All I can say is that with what they charge for admission, those two new flat rides better be pretty good.

I heard one of them is going to be like a haunted house.

Swoosh, any idea as to when they will annouce?

Latest word is that the Lighthouse is the ride being removed and that the miXer is being moved there. Also rumor has it that the Inverter will be moving to the miXer's old site and that the are where the Super Screamer was will be the site once again to a LARGE thrill ride that spins... No confirmation from the park yet though, but I do think you might squeak with joy when you hear what it is. ;)

Where to begin.

1. It is a very short ride (like 45 seconds if that)

2. The harnesses suck which in turn for larger riders = massive headbanging (no I am not talking like at a concert)

Megazeph was, back in its first few years, a fairly decent ride. I would definitely put it towards the lower half of the large CCIs, but i remember a couple of rides I got back in 2002 when the trains were just tearing through the tracks.

The structure was steel, so the floodwaters may have not damaged as much as it appears. If the park does indeed close down, Megazeph better not be trashed, especially if resurrection is a possibility. A smaller park like Adventureland or even Magic Springs would benefit enormously from adding a coaster like Megazeph and with the right maintenance, it could rise again!

Forgive me, I meant Lighthouse. River City Rampage was the ride's name at the local fair.

Look at the map on the Adventureland site near the bridge to Dragon Island (you know where that is right?) and it is to the left of it near the Magic Show Saloon.

Ahh ok, the cars are gold right? I think that is what I am thinking of.

If this is the correct ride, its a bad ride for a larger guest and a smaller guest, the smaller guest always gets crushed.

Yes and it kind of looks like a Lighthouse with 6 cars around it on arms and then it is hydraulically thrusted into the air as the contraption spins around...

That is a shame that ride is being removed. It was a lot of fun!
