Interesting, as something I read earlier today (sorry, didn't care enough to track down the source)

It might be interesting, but I stopped right there. "I read somewhere that <surprising counter-intuitive thing here>" is bush league.

Are we in an AP class now?

Article discussing a study in Israel with respect to immunity conferred by having Covid versus vaccine with respect to Delta variant. Not sure it was what Dave saw though.

The ToS states source links are required, right? I forget.

Asking the forum what the ToS rules are is bush league.

I shall point out two things in my own defense.

First, I wasn’t intending to stake a position on that article; at most I intended to note that some document exists which makes the claim. And yes, GoBucks89, that’s probably it, though I don’t care enough to find out for sure. If I wanted an argument I would have at least checked the source. I figured anybody who wants to make an argument out of it can “do his own research.”

Second, I don’t think the two seemingly contradictory conclusions are actually contradicting each other anyway. Okay, so as a recovered patient you have more antibodies than someone who has taken the vaccine. Congratulations, your antibodies are more selective so you’re still 2.5x as likely to get Delta as the guy with the two tiny puncture wounds in his arm.

They used the same puncture wound from my first shot the second time. Did they not do that with yours?

Wouldn't that put a hole in the microchip from the first shot?

Both shots have the chip in it for that very reason.

If both shots are in the same wound, is the magnetism doubled?

Yep, I thought that was rather evident to anyone who read beyond a third of the first sentence.

It must be. I've never been wanded through Universal security until this year.

Letter to the editor of Tampa Bay Times:

Florida’s new surgeon general, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, is spot-on with his observation that the best form of prevention from COVID-19 is for persons to have an infection because this will provide the best immunity. I am aware that he is correct because of a recent experience with a member of my family. He had a severe infection from COVID-19. He is past that now and is completely immune — not only for COVID-19 but flu and other respiratory infections as well. Dr. Ladapo’s recommendation works. Of course we are burying this family member next week.

What an enormous pile of stupid. Also for the paper to even print something like that.

It's satire, but I think it's in pretty poor taste. Maybe I'm getting too old.
