What's with the broken, hairy comb?

Nope, I'm still not clear on what exactly the message said. ;)

From Wikipedia but take it for what its worth:

Banshees are frequently described as dressed in white or grey, often having long, pale hair which they brush with a silver comb, a detail scholar Patricia Lysaght attributes to confusion with local mermaid myths. This comb detail is also related to the centuries-old traditional romantic Irish story that, if you ever see a comb lying on the ground in Ireland, you must never pick it up, or the banshees (or mermaids — stories vary), having placed it there to lure unsuspecting humans, will spirit such gullible humans away.

Just wondering if this will be a real record or some fictitious made up statistic

Example: Gatekeeper holds no real records other than specific to its type. IMHO its a steel coaster and holds no records of any type.

Chuck, yes stirring the pot a bit. However I would love to see some real record no matter what type it is. Highest, Fastest, Longest, Most inversions which is about the only real records to be broken in the Steel Coaster wars.

P.S. Also not saying Gatekeeper is bad at all. I personally would much rather see a well rounded overall good or exciting ride than any type record. Perhaps a hundred tub Flying Scooter? ;)

Tallest inversion

Tallest inversion

Questionable IMHO The Coaster is 170ft tall. The Inversion is some feet below that and MF's Overbank is actual 169ft which is not called a inversion on MF but is on several other coasters.

Gatekeeper has the tallest inversion at 170ft. The second tallest inversion is on Full Throttle at 160ft. Give it a rest.

In your last two posts you used "imho." You don't need to say "imho" because it's redundant. YOU'RE the one writing your posts and you're expressing YOUR opinion. Who else's opinion would you be expressing? Therefore, "imho" is a stupid redundant annoying phrase and I grind my teeth every time I see someone use it.

I believe imho and variants are polite shorthand for saying "your mileage may vary" or "but hey, what do I know" or whatever else we use to politely. It's to to try to prevent internet blowhards from yelling WRONG or NO, STUPID when expressing an opinion, because some people still can't tell the difference.

At least imho.

So I guess X2 flipping you over backwards at 175ft don't count? :)

IMEO (in my esteemed opinion), no, especially considering you don't actually invert, but simply tilt forward. ;)

Probably the biggest Inverted (if it is in fact inverted, for example) coaster in the midwest, or the longest. Not sure if they would go tallest or not. But heck, they could beat out Alpengiest by a foot if they wanted to, most of the general public won't know the difference anyway.

Wouldn't it be crazy if everything we think we know about this ride turns out to be disinformation? What if it turns out to be a purple and yellow Intamin Floorless coaster themed to a space travel and named X-Treme Speed Force with the record for the largest horizontal uphill helix!!!

I is very excited about the announcement though.

Good Call, nobody should be camping under an inverted coaster.
