Carowinds Intimidator just made it's first 2 successful laps and it HAULED through the course, to the point of almost looking painful at the end. Check out the webcam http://66.193.7.116/mjpg/video.mjpg if you can get a spot in there - it's still testing.
The first test run was posted on YouTube:

It looks like the block was completely off as the drop off the block and the entrance into the helix looked completely insane.
tservo, it is a B&M. lol
That looks like it's going to be awesome! I love those pointy hills.

You probably don't want to test the first run with any trimming engaged. Doesn't mean it won't be trimmed later.

I'm looking forward to both of the rides also, tservo. No need to try to save face. They both have the same name, are within a four hour drive from each other, and being built by the same chain. (begin sarcasm) It's not as if it's confusing or anything. (end sarcasm)

Btw.. For those wanting first ride attempts (and donate to some causes)
I305 has now officially posted their first rides auction. Runs similar to Carowinds.

Right, Andy. One has a number after it. I hope that that clears up the massive confusion between the two. :p

I was just looking at some photos on the intimidator305.com website and noticed two new pictures added to the library. I think some people are going to be disappointed when they see the new trains on site. I've never had any experience with this design of train, but Im sure some of you have.
I've seen some replies on the site with members expressing their disappointment with OTSR and how to them it takes away from the full ride experience, thats all. Like I said, I haven't experienced those type of restraints myself, so I don't have an opinion on them.
