And where are you seeing GL only passes for 39.99?? The only passes currently available GL's site are the platinum passes.

Would $39.99 be a great deal if it only included Wildwater Kingdom?

After being a season pass holder for decades - I am done with Geauga Lake (and Cedar Fair), regardless of how cheap (or expensive) the season pass is. My family simply doesn't enjoy Geauga Lake enough to justify visiting anymore.

I only wonder how much in-park prices will have to go up to compensate for the loss of the three members of my family (and possibly many others who feel the same way) who will no longer frequent Cedar Fair parks.

I already teased Batwing on another site about being the first to have a KD Dominator shirt. Maybe he'll take a KD Dominator construction hat instead since he's salivating over it.

The $40 that Coasterfantom2 is seeing, would have to be the Cedar Fair jacket retail value.

My bad! ;) I should have looked closer. I was too busy studying the other parks pass prices.

If they keep pulling out attractions, they may eventually reach a 39.99 SP price... ;) LOL!

It's a good value to get it free for purchasing a platinum pass that you are going to spend $140 on anyway. ;)

I've already seen Lance from Screamscape's Photoshopped copy of a satellite image of Dominator behind Scooby. Yeah, it fits.

I dont know if those jackets are really worth the 40 dollar price tag, seriously does CF have that much of a problem with over pricing? ;)

If any of the rumors are true, it sounds like I should have entitled this thread "A whole lot more than two rides may be leaving Geauga Lake, and some might meet the bulldozer or wrecking ball."

There's a "rumor" going around that the American Cornhole game will be relocated to Great America for the 2008 season...

^that doesn't even make sense. It's a couple of wood boxes and some bags full of corn. They could build it new cheaper than moving something that small.

And because no one really knows anything for sure (including me), I'll say this. I've heard the rumors are just rumors.

Anyway Jason. I see you're from the Cleveland area which makes sense why you're being the optimist in all of this commotion. Maybe you'll be right and we won't have this conversation--until next year.

^I resent that comment a little. If you've read more of my posts, I think you'd see that I'm nearly always an optomist, not just for Geauga Lake. It's just that there are so many more pesimists here, it must make me stand out more. I see no point in being a pesimist. I'd prefer to be happy in life.
