It also has all of them overbanks, not to mention speed tunnels, etc. So while it's out and back it also behaves like many twisters dO? *** Edited 8/12/2006 10:03:37 AM UTC by Kyle Fobe***
Kyle Says: Diamondback was a lot of fun! Made his first time at Kings Island worth it all!
If MF's point "A" is the station, I'm not sure what point "B" would be. I guess the second overbank would be the best fit but that's stretching quite a bit to make the ride fit a category that it doesn't really fit.
As far as the layout MF really fits better with some of the free-form terrain coasters out there, except without the height differentials we usually associate with a terrain coaster.
Yes the ride was RailBlazer and it is the side that is still there. The other side (where Ninja currently sits) went first to Dollywood and is now in Arkansas.
I do have a picture somewhere of RailBlazer, I'll have to see if I can find it.
Sorry about getting the Off Topic, Off Topic. ;)
When was this announced?
Trust me when I say the annoucement is NEXT WEEK(14th August or sometime that week) unless of course they delay it further???
You see while on the ECC America Trip at Cedar Point, most of us were wondering what the new ride would be, and while on the managers with us obviously couldnt say what it was, he did say that it would be annouced in August and was currently scheduled for around August 14th or maybe later that same week.
So again trust me, We WILL ALL KNOW SOON :D
I personally think its a launched coaster of some kind, was'nt there a report of Cedar Point building a power supply building in that area of the ride where something like that wouldnt really be nessecary???
I choose traditional chain lift. More time to enjoy on the ride, especially after waiting 2hrs (or much more next year, depending on capacity & hype).
