Amazing... I heard the same exact thing from a friend of the sister's step mother of the one-eyed guy who works at the Lemon Chill stand on Thursday nights in July only when it's full moon. ;)

Man, if I hear one more "Lemon Chill" reference.. :(

Well, on page 15 to 20 (I have no idea where)... I coined a new phrase because it was TRUE... the "local old man by the pier". He gave me information that it was to surpass Dragster in height & be huge.

Well, I guess that proved his theory wrong... since I'm going back, I'd love to rub it in his face (the statement, that is)... and just go "nah ner nah ner"!

Once a train is spotted... THEN it should all become quite clear the TYPE of Intamin they are planning. If you see shoulder restraints, you might expect to see some kinda loopin'... but if you see somethign else, then expect somethign else.

I have a feeling they will announce what it is before a train shows up.

You have disturbed the forbidden temple, now-you-will-pay!!!

^makes sense to me :)
They just poured what look to be another footer maybe? Right in front of the webcam. Whatever it was, was a small amount and was poured into the ground. They also have quite a bit of track in place off camera that you can see from www.funcoast.com 's funcam. *** Edited 8/15/2006 6:14:24 PM UTC by TonyBlackjack***

What did?

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!

...the actual signs of construction with supports that are lingering pretty low to the ground. If one was to be building a huge coaster, one of the first things you'd do (as they have in the past) is to construct the lift-hill or largest hill first (done with MF & done with TTD). No footers thus far would indicate that this coaster will even come close to 200', let alone anything taller (of course, I could be wrong).
I remember them working on several parts of MF though as the hill was being constructed. I know many coasters to have been built in sections and then joined together near completion.
I'm not sure if anyone has posted this before, but thought I would since as this ride comes together, it looks more and more like this ride in this video that was posted on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfPbmQ3J4FQ

It's an intamin prototype that is being installed at a park overseas for 2007. It just seems so much like what is being built at the Point. I could be very wrong, but it does look interesting.

Actually I think this was posted on PointBuzz, but I thought I would bring it up again after seeing all these low supports going in. *** Edited 8/15/2006 9:39:41 PM UTC by lakecrystal***

Has been mentioned and for some reason everyone I have seen has shot down the idea.
^not quite everyone, look back to when it was first posted. There were 3 or 4 in support of this idea. (pun not intended) I still think its one of several possibilities on the table.
It looks rather short and prototypes are never fun especially if CP puts one in..

Sorry but I'm still hoping for an AquaTrax.
