Flying Turns Update

I didn't mean "you" personally, Moosh. I was using the generic all-purpose "you." Bad choice of a personal pronoun, I know. :)

Revised version: If SOMEONE doesn't want sound, HE should go watch a mime.

Wow, even remembering that SOMEONE is singular! :)

Knoebels is doing a great job updating their site right now. 3 straight days of new Time Lapse Videos and several updated pictures in the last week or so, thanks John!

Ok, can anyone figure out what the heck is on the ground on Knoebels webcam? It looks like a pile of wood but I've been staring at it since 8:00 this morning and all I've seen is a van and a small tow motor moving around and nothing else!

I guess I'm talking to myself here but it appears that I watched them put down more footers on the webcam today. A lot of activity all day long.

ive noticed alot of activity as well, and also if anyone has been to the site Knoebels now has a Podcast going! Alot of new things this year with the new coaster, webcam showing construction, commercials, and now podcasts. It's a very exciting year for them. *** Edited 3/28/2006 9:45:01 PM UTC by P18***

It's working now. Now I just have to keep my computer from trying to play it on WMP.

yeah it is. Quick question and im sorry if this has been asked before, but where will water drain off to? Im guessing this might not opperate in rainy weather unless they want a wet/dry water slide on the side and also the trough might become too slippery/dangerous? *** Edited 3/29/2006 9:53:59 PM UTC by P18***

Looks like we've got 2 circular arrangements of concrete piers at ground level today. Things are really starting to take shape!

At this rate, it might open before El Toro. ;)

Knoebals Flying Turns will either be my 399th Coaster in 2007 or Number 4?? in 2008 ("Montezum" at Sao Paulo's Hopa Hiri will be my 400th Roller Coaster and their "Katapult" (Formerly PKD's "King Cobra") will be my 100th Looping Roller Coaster! :)

(I got a new Job this year, and I don't know if I'll be getting a Weeks Vacation in 2007 or will I have to wait until 2008. Either way I've got my Bases Covered!)

Looks like they put the trough in sometime over the weekend. Things appear to be moving along rather well!

Ok, I actually went to Knoebels on Sunday and took a few pictures. I just stood along the road and snapped off a few because no one was there and I didn't want to roam the jobsite without getting permission.

You can check out the pics (all 4 of them) in my blog by clicking here.
