It feels like Christmas!!! Or Thanksgiving depending on how you look at it. ;)

Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid.

So sad they built it with steel supports, by 2009 the coaster will be a joke. Why dont we learn from history? The coaster looks amazing...untill i saw the steel structure....

Really, Jar? I guess you haven't been to Indiana Beach, their wood tracked, steel supported coasters are pretty darned good.

jar,

Steel supported coasters are nothing new - Coney Island Cyclone is a prime example of an amazing steel supported ride. AND Holiday World with Jeff H. have done an amazing job keeping their coasters in tip-top form - I would not let this be a concern - but yes some of the steel-framed CCI's have fallen apart but that has a lot more to do with CCI and certain parks maintenance than steel framed wood coasters.

You may have forgotten that HW also has Hammersly and Co. maintaining the rides.

I'm SO there next year!

Obviously you don't know Holiday World that well. It is easily one of two top parks as far as wood coaster maintenance is concerned. They never stop improving and maintaining their coasters. It's hard to find a park that babies their woodies like HW.

Have a little faith.

Spoken like someone who hasn't boarded Hades. Or Cornball. Pity.

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.
