HW Has reported!

First time I watched the video I thought that straight section just before a tunnel was lame, and then I realized it was necessary for survival. :)

Chattanooga needs a ITG2 Machine!

He's probably talking about the new one at WOF

So I'm guessing that straight section is a MCBR then? It's funny they don't show brakes on that part though. *** Edited 7/13/2005 6:06:36 PM UTC by mudinthevayne***
Although that flat section seems low, could it be a MCBR?.......oh, you beat me to it. *** Edited 7/13/2005 5:55:38 PM UTC by BSBMX***

"He's probably talking about the new one at WOF"

Nope... I don't consider WOF remotely close to Louisville, KY.

Shaggy

Shaggy

Remember there is some land elevation in that area so it may be low to the gound but it may be high compared to the rest of the coaster...

There are no bad coasters, only better coasters!!

God, I hate to be a grammar and spelling nazi, but I've had it with this word getting butchered!

Break refers to something getting broken or to taking a "break".

Brake refers to something used to slow or stop the momentum of something.

Oh yeah, go Holiday World!

Certain victory.

Worlds Of Fun isn't anywhere near the Louisville I live in :)

"Near Louisville" means SFKK, PKI, Holiday World, Beech Bend and that's pretty much it. Maybe Indiana Beach. Stricker's Grove and LeSoardsville Lake don't really count :)

You mean go "to" Holiday World right? ;)

And hey, Columbus Day is pretty close to Thanksgiving so what the hey?

Aww man...drool!

Oops lol! I didn't even notice I spelled it that way. I didn't sleepy last night. I blame it on Holiday World because of the anticipation they put me through lol.:)

ONLY 296 DAYS TO GO UNTIL I RIDE MY NEW #1 WOOD COASTER.
Nina, Pinta, Santa Maria. WRONG HOLIDAY! LOL

I posted in the news thread before even finding this.

Neener! thats the third and last one Im doing

Everyone knew it was Pat's wish for a Darkride :)
Thanksgiving was the obvious choice of Holiday.
The relationship with the TGG guys guaranteed a wood coaster.
The River in S&S was both obviously needed like a second wavepool and will be equally if not more entertaining and help with capacity in S&S.

THANK YOU HW&SS and everyone involved. It is indeed WE who are TRUELLY THANKFUL!
Chuck, who will be there Labor day and proabably quit my job next year to spend the summer being a BIG OL Turkey :)

Oh my goodness. Can't we all wait until we ride it before we place it in its rightful spot on our favorite coaster lists. Sheesh.

In a month or so, some other park might conjour up some more great looking drawings for another wooden coaster and everyone out there will go, 'Wait! I have a new #1! OMG!>!1' Let the rides speak for themselves.

Regardless, looks awesome. I'll definetly be there again in 2006. Thanks everyone at Holiday World! :)

Where exactly is the new river going? I know it's near Bahari and around the found place, but I can't visualize that.

See what you started, Shaggy?!!!!

I wonder if there will be one LESS "used" coaster in your proximity next year, Shags.

Well without even reading the fourth page.

IMHO SRM name should be retired entirely. It was a perfect name for a perfect event but it's over and I'll not go into that.

Lets think Anew New World, NEW event, New Coaster. Wood Coaster Pilgramage (WCP)

Chuck, again thankful for HW&SS.

For everyone (anyone?) whose interested in the REAL history of the New World....as opposed to the European version of events, LOL. Book I *just* finished reading, by Gavin Menzies: "1421, The Year China Discovered America".

But I'll be VERY happy to ride some "revisionist (coaster) history"... :)

Sorry about jumping the gun about already making it my new #1. I wanted to see what it felt like to be Paul Ruben for a minute.

Gator, I didn't read that, but I did read a history of Chinese sailing and they did mention possible links with Central America. Interesting.

But dang, time to say "thanks" eh? ;)

All I have to say is this is the perfect place for the installation of the infamous ACE Gravy Boat Flyers as conceived by the team of CPlaya:Sarah Jackson:KickTheSky.

Certain victory.
