If 24.2 seconds means either the extent of airtime or the amount of time spend in a tunnel, I might just cry.
A while back, Paula mentioned getting an email from a "friend at a New Jersey park" in the HoliBlog.
So, assuming this is SFGAd, and we know that SFGAd is getting a wooden coaster, I wonder if HW has been talking with them about the coaster?
I can just see it: "OK, so now you're going to break what records? How steep is that drop again? What's the length?"
OK, well maybe not! But you never know...
Anyway...what sort of bets are we taking on the coaster? I'll bet that this coaster will go underground. If it doesn't...
I'll proclaim my love of the New York Yankees...god i hate them! I'm a Philadelphia Phillies fan myself...have been ever since I was little. And I will never love the Yankees...that's how sure I am this new coaster will go underground. Anyone else willing to place bids/bets?
Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger
Ohhh....
I'm excited about the annoucement, I'm sure some good wood is in the making :)

HW would be much wiser to go with either Gravity Group or GCI, should they indeed be building a third wooden coaster.
But with the *reports* from Avalanche (and to a lesser degree Falken), and my experience on Tsunami, engineering-wise, the S&S wood-coaster division shouldn't be closing up shop anytime too soon. Price-wise it seemed like S&S was in line with other manufacturers...
Then again, there's a new *crop* of woodies announced for '06 already, and NONE of them are coming from S&S....so....;)
