im friggin stoked about this ride!!!! :)
still trying to think of a good signature...
I'm pretty pumped, but honestly, this seems like something that I'll ride a couple times each trip and then go play DDR or something. I'm sure it'll be great but probably not power riding material.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
Lucky for me, I do want to sample Hydra, so what's an extra hour or so.
And gee, Tsunami isn't far off that path...
...and I'm coming from western PA, so I'll be passing Hershey (and Turbulence) on the way to Dorney.
Never before has a coaster trip planned itself like this :)
Looks like SFGAdv might benefit from the nearby additions - at least from an enthusiast's perspective.
Good that GA is preserving the family atmosphere (a la good ol' PKI) while adding supersized thrills. Playa hataz say what!!
PS, I still think Hydra will be the hit next year among us enthusiasts though.
Fate is the path of least resistance.
Perhaps he's waiting for that second announcement we all know is coming where they say they were just kidding and show the full layout with overbanks and 42 loops.
--Brett, who does mean to pick on the guy, sorry, I'm an a-hole like that ;)

Add me to the 3.5 million people that will be flocking to this ride next year. I admit, I thought the L-TH-B idea was ho hum, but the bunny hill made all the difference. Not to mention the revamped themed area, and the different (albeit weird) monikerGood that GA is preserving the family atmosphere (a la good ol' PKI) while adding supersized thrills. You gotta laugh at all the people who were saying either (1) it wouldn't be a record breaker or (2) it's stupid to invest so much in a coaster when their atmosphere and kids areas are so lacking. Well, they invested in BOTH AND it IS a record breaker !! I agree about Hydra too. That layout looks wild. Add Turbulence to the mix and we have a great 2005 coaster year to look forward to !

I'm just hoping SFGAdv.'s themed trains don't fall apart like CP's. That could get messy.*** Edited 9/30/2004 4:53:11 AM UTC by rentzy17***
Let's not forget about the cable snapping on TTD and injuring people ! I hope they made some changes so that we don't get that crap happening on Ka !!
My kids have gotten worse falling down outside.
Just had to say it :)
But I do agree - I hope the cable problem has been fixed, it could have been serious and someone could actually get hurt.
California Screamin, another Intamin launched coaster uses a dual station and is pretty good at moving the crowds thru with 6 train op.
On the other hand I understand the concern...the typical Six Flags lack of ride ops for two platform operation combined with the short ride time...but hopefully they understand this and will make the adjustments.
...and such
