I'm so impressed and ecstatic about that schedule. I'm still most excited about hanging out with some of my favorite people altogether in the same place at the same time, but that just sweetens the pot.

I found out on Wednesday that I can get off work on Saturday (and Sunday, I'll need time to unwind ;)), so I'll be doing the lovely on-site registration. The availability of that saved my day. Sorry for asking if I missed it, but when is the earliest we can do on-site registration and the earliest people can start picking up tickets and such? Thanks!

The hunt will be in teams of four, and you should try to come up with a clever team name ahead of time.

Does anyone know if Kings Island offers discounted second day admission tickets like other parks do? I want to go to the park on Sunday before my flight leaves and was just wondering if I can do it for a little less than the normal admission price.

Thanks for any help.

Certain victory.

I could swear that they do, or if not they offer a reasonable credit toward a season pass. I forget exactly, but I really thought they did one or the other.

you can credit the full cost of your ticket to a season pass.

Not if you bought the ticket from me though... remember that there's padding in there to pay for name tags, credit card processing fees, or non-member fees.

By the way, you might be interested to know that the pre-registration includes people from 21 states!

And we can start picking up tickets/name tags or on-site registering at...? I'm guessing 9, but I want to make sure.

If I get up that early, sure. :) Actually, we'll try to be there a little earlier.

Sounds like this is going to be a terrific event! The extra's are an added bonus. I'm terribly excited, as this is my first CB event - looking forward to meeting everyone! Happy dance, happy dance!

As for next day discounts, I know I saw something advertised last time I was there, could've been season passes. ACE members get 1/2 price everyday & a walk-back. Do CB members as well? If not, maybe we need to talk to Jeff S & see if something can be worked out. PKI is always one of the best when it comes to hospitality!

Well, PKI and HW are the most hospitable that I've encountered... And they are so close together! I'm estatic for this trip. So much to do, and so little time!

Will any of the scavenger hunt involve something from the new water park area?

Last year, PKI handed us a discount coupon for the park. No clue if they are going to do it this year, but it wouldn't hurt to ask the management at lunch if we don't get one handed to us that day.

I live 5 mins from the park, and sometimes feel like we live at the park (my hubby and I have both worked there; he is currently working there and our 6 year old is pretty much obsessed with the place, and has been since she was 2)so I can tell that the park is currently running a "pay for one day, get two" deal. Since we are passholders, I did not read the specifics, but they had sings EVERYWHERE including a little handbill they gave us as we entered at the parking toll booth.

Couple of questions: 1) What time does the parking booths open and 2) how much is parking going to be?

Hey Jeff,
When we get there, do we pick up our tickets/meal tickets/whatnot from a booth or directly from you?

Their war. Our world.
