SF St. Louis - Anything going on??

I am sad to hear that you think so. I really believe that the park is looking good this year. Everyone seems to be working hard to keep the park tidy. Have you been yet this season?

It would be a shame to loose anything from the Old Chicago section. My first memories of the park are from that area. Many of us grew up with the eagle, rush street, and the pizza express.

You have to remember that the summer has just begun too. It sometimes takes awhile to wake up a park that has been hibernating for the last seven months. I believe that as the summer progresses, the status of everything in the park will improve exponentially!

Three things...

- Cardinals Pitching is again suspect.

- Blues blew it again in the playoffs

- And Kurt Warner is Leaving the Rams.

... and and SFStL is still waiting for a Hyper. (okay 4 things)

And for May 8th, I plan on arriving at the park at 10 am and leaving at 10 pm, so I'll see you more than once.

What ride do you work on? I'll be sure to stop by and say hi. If it's Screamin Eagle, then i'll be there for multiple rides. Last year on July 26th me and some friends staied on for 7 rides in a row, lol, but with headaches. Hopefully this year is better.

And also, do you know if Xcalibur will be open when I come? I haven't been on it yet, because for some reason it didn't seem too appealing to me. I made a mistake :(.

Oh well, only 17 days until I go! Hope to see you there!

P.S.- Have you tried MooseBurger Lodge yet? If you recomend it, me and my family might wanna try it out.

I wouldn't count on that happening anytime soon, considering SFStL's seasonal attendance is more than twice the highest attendance Holiday World has ever seen.

Really? See I thought they had just a little over 1 mil (SFStL) last year. That is not "more than twice".

Some reason I thought SFStL was in the 1.5 to 1.8 mil region. Not sure where I get those figures those so them may or may not be close.

SFStL's attendance last year was nearly 1.7 million. Holiday World's was somewhere around 800,000.

I was thinking that SFStL was more in the 1.5 range, but that still is not "more than double". You are right Jim, they are knocking on WOF's attendance level - we'll see if that changes this season. I'm pretty sure SFStL won't have as high of a season this year.

Double 800,000 and you get 1.6 million. SFStL's 1.7 million certainly is more than double.

I am working on Screaming Eagle, I work on Saturdays and Sundays from 4pm till close. My name is Matt, I wear a blue shirt with "It's Playtime" on the left sleve and khaki pants if that helps you out ;)

If you don't think you saw me at Screaming, I would most likely be at Waterstreet Cab Company (bumper cars). Anyone else notice that there is something "mystical" about bumper cars? Everyone is always smiling and having a great time, when just a few min ago they weren't talking to each other at all.....strange.....

Is Stan (00) still around? Some days i miss that old hell hole of a park. but most days, I sit in my air conditioned cushy job and thank the heavens that i finally got out of that horrible, abusive and no respect job at sfsl.

I wonder how many of you I would remember? i worked there for years but dropped off the face of the earth a few seasons ago.
