Lumpy, good to know about hotwire. Only way to know what hotel they'll give you before hand is from other user's reports. So thanks. A friend that works for a travel agency can get me a room there for $60, so hotwire is pretty darn good. I've never actually completed a hotwire transaction. No problems?
I guess you figured out that I will be there then. As for Hotwire, I have never dealt with them before. I did like Hotwire over Priceline though....But I still wish some 4 star hotel would have excepted my $25.00 bid..... ;)
Redman, Chris said he wouldn't blab about not getting wet this time.....

If you book through Hotwire, The Hampton Inn in Gurnee is only $55.00 a night. Then if you book directly from there website, they have a special "Hit The Road" rate of $59.00. The Regular rate, I believe is $79.00 a night.http://www.hamptoninn.com/en/hp/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=CHIGUHX
