Then what are you waiting for. Plane fares here have never been cheaper especially if your city has southwest they always have great rates. Plus speed is an awesome value: ride all day for 10 bucks and they have dollar blackjack at the sahara too. I go there on a fairly regular basis and always have fun and usually come home with some extra money dollar craps sometimes too.

My husband has been out of work for quite some time. We've got comps at several hotels (free rooms/free food), but no money for airfare. Nor can we afford to indulge in our second favorite pasttime....gambling.

New news! Peabody will be going after all! This is very exciting news. Tickets were purchased today! The trip stands as planned, but now I need to know where and when anyone wants to meet for the fun. We have Robocoaster, Chris, Ryan, CPLady, Danny, and a few others that escape me at the moment. We want to have a travelling carnival if at all possible, with the carnage coming to a close at SRM.

Keep responding!

Great news that you can make the trip, Jeff. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a good MRI.

I thought of one, Peabody, but didn't include it. Wow, discretion....that's a first for me!!

I can go with to SFGam. Can't do the rest of the trip though, as much as i want to.

At this point, we are considering adding PKI to our trip, but for Friday morning, not Thursday. All depends on whether my son wants to blow off two days of high school rather than one. Otherwise, just CP on the 28th, and SRM

nasai, et al. - add me to the traveling carnival for the Ohio portion of the trip. I plan on being at CP in the evening on 5/27, and all of 5/28, then at PKI on 5/29. This pre-SRM event needs a name. May I humbly suggest Koaster Karnival '03?

Koaster Karnival '03 sounds good to me. I can even bring t-shirts to that affect if anyone wants (though I'll need help designing the logo). I may (probably will) alter my plans for the 28th. Originally I was to spend all day at SFWoA. Now I'm thinking about leaving around 2:30 and heading for CP, arriving around 5pm. At that time they offer reduced admission.

That only leaves 3 hrs, but it will take some pressure off the all-day visit I'll have on June 2nd. If I need more time for WoA, I can get a few additional hours in on the morning of June 3rd, before heading to Idlewild (for a brief visit to bolster count) and Kennywood...

Just don't call it the Koaster Karnival of Karnage... we don't need that letter in tripled in an acronym...

I'm driving to Jasper, IN. on Thurdsay, May 29 and plan on going to SFKK on Friday. If anyone is going to be in that area and wants to ride with me or me ride with them let me know I would appreciate it much because I really dont want to drive down there by myself.

Well... again, we will be hitting SFKK on Friday morning, as a lot of enthusiasts will be. Some of us know each other, so just look for the big dumb group or smiling geeks. ;) Either that, or check out my personal pic. Between Peabody, Chris, myself, Tina, Rob, Kristin, or Ryan, you should be able to recognize one of us. That, or email us between now and then, and we can tentatively plan a central meeting place that Friday morn. :):)
