Who will go with me?

First off, I know there is a calendar, but I have to find out who might be willing to take a trip with me through SFGam, CP, PKI, SFKK, HW, and IB in late May to correspond with the SRM days, and the calendar won't put a warm body in the car next to me. Peabody is very sick, and probably can't come, so I need a riding partner. I would be flying into Chicago, and leaving from Chicago. Please email me if you are interested. No stalkers please! ;)

Dude, SRM is May 30-31st.

There is kinda a tennative plan going round of SFKK the morn of the 30th, SRM at HW on the 30-31st. IB sunday and PKI monday. Of course there are several variations on that plan. Beechbend and ACE have a regional event for June 1st.

It is my personal belief that Lesourdsville Lake is closed for 2003. I'll let you know if anything is announced.

Rob, If I could I would, since I have never been to any of those parks. But I can't. I did however want to ask, does it actually help eliminate the stalkers by asking nicely for them to not reply?

Chuck, looking forward to finally meeting you! I won't be doing PKI after SRM and IB, it will be 2 days prior to SRM. Fly in, SFGAm, CP, PKI, SFKK, SRM at HW, IB, fly home. Memorial day in, June 2nd out.

Rob, I would love to join you as I have never been to any of those parks.However my budget doesn't quite allow it at this time,unless I win big when I go to Las Vegas next week.;)

Sounds like a great trip. Which day do you expect to be at CP? I've been bantering around the idea of taking that week off from work (already have Friday off for SRM, Monday is Memorial Day...why not take T-W-TH as well).
A day trip to CP during that week is a good possibility.

GregLeg (& sibs), my husband and I and a couple others will be at PKI on Thursday early afternoon, SFKK on Friday morning and then onto SRM. If you find yourself alone (or not) and our schedules match up, you are welcome to join us.

So has anyone actually met Rob's wife? Is she for real, because nobody seems to have ever met her before.

Rob, as Lori said, we're not doing that full circuit, but we WILL be doing the PKI/SFKK/SRM thing. I'll also most likely be doing IB Sunday. Of course, that doesn't solve your "warm body in the car" aspect.

I'm really depressed....I was going to go with Rob but this week I have been hit with a medical problem that is going to hit me financially....I have to get a freakin brain MRI on Friday....seriously. (Joke away... :) ) Sure insurance covers some, but ouch...... Here's hoping I will be able to ride this summer!

Rob, that is close to the trip we pulled last year....I survived, but will forever bear the scars from Jill's beatings afterward, LOL....hope chris *does* go with you. We know how much you desire *a warm body*. Oh, and Tomoko had BETTER be real, I'm expecting Udon...;)

Rob, my marathon is happening between SRM and Coastermania but I look forward to finally meeting you! I will also be at SFKK that Friday morning so I will more than likely see you there!

Unfortunatley the freaks and stalkers run amuck but don't forget about the sick psychos out there! You know what I went through recently with a so-called enthusiast.

I plan on hitting a lot of parks between and around those two events so I really look forward to it! Then I think I will have JUST enough time to rest before Coaster Con!

Thanks for all the kind words folks. I'm confident that everything will be fine. I think the MRI will come back fine and they will just give me some nice drugs to remedy the situation. It all started last week when I was minding my own buisness, feeling fine, and then had a feeling like someone struck me with a sledge hammer between the eyes. Not a fun sensation, especially out of the blue! But, my situation is reading like a textbook example of a rare benign condition that can happen, usually in 20-25 year old males. Usually treated with common prescription drugs :)

Will keep you all posted. As it stands now, I hope to be at SFGAd on the 12th :)

I hope all you other freaks can keep Rob company on his trip. I'll be there in spirit. Maybe I should move to Canada. Free healthcare, right?
