Who will go with me?

Hey, I may be able to finangle my schedule to hit CP and PKI(I'll prob. go to SF WoA for part of the next morning myself), if i can get off work, and have the cash. Peabody, you're in Baltimore? will u be flying over or driving, i'm close to B-More, and could follow you in maybe, or maybe not. this would be fun as i'd finally get to hit CP,and Meet all u outstanding Cbuzz Citizens!!

Peabody will be flying into Chicago with me, and we will driving together. Sorry!!! But, you can certainly meet us! The only thing I am pondering now is the fact that I might just want to hit CP on Tuesday, and SFWoa on Wednesday because the freeways are kinder that way. What does anyone think of this ponderance? Let a brother know! ;)

Bill, I have seen time in the big house... I can't lie, and I'd rather not expound on the details, but rest assured, I shan't be going back anytime soon. Not unless we go to Tokyo, and I get accused of tossing bottles on the Shinkansen (again!) LOL!!!

That actually might be better anyhow, as I'd rather hit some parks during the week and be home for the weekend for work, so that I won't have to beg, plead, and bribe to get some weekdays off, and I just may have a sat. or fri. to barter with, so just let me know, as i'm probably gonna just drive out by myself and meet u @ CP, then maybe I'll do SF WoA the next day with you, How far is it from PKI, btw?

Not trying to Linda.... :( Is that not a good day for you? I thought I convinced you to take the entire week off!!! ;) Why don't you drop me a line? I want to do what's best for everyone. I never get out that way, so this trip has to be set up really right for efficiency. Will it matter if I do CP on Tuesday or Wednesday? Is the drive to PKI easier from SFWoa (like it seems) or from CP? I don't know... you see? I have only been to both those parks once, and somebody else was driving, so I don't have a good memory of which was seems better. I just know that my map makes it look like a straight shot from SFWoa via the freeway....

Let a brother know.

It almost is a straight shot... I-80 to I-71 for what seems like an eternity, and PKI is right off of I-71... I don't know how to get there from CP, though ;)

I do have the entire week off, and I can probably do Tuesday. Wednesday was good because I convinced the hubby to go that day so he could do some laps at Norwalk Drag Strip on Wednesday night.

He may be up for tuesday if he likes dragster enough. Otherwise I'll make the trip alone.

Ok... So based on the requirements of Priceline, I can now say, with accuracy, that the following is true. Make your plans accordingly, please. ;)

May 26th - fly in the Chicago. Hit Funspot on the way to CP for an overnight at Breakers Express.
May 27th - hit CP hard.... leave at closing, drive to hotel near SFwoa.
May 28th - hit SFwoa. Try not to hate treatment at park. Enjoy meeting Zero-G for grins. Tell him he should get a job at a better park!!! ;) Leave park at closing and make the long drive to PKI area.
May 29th - enjoy PKI, and ride Delirium until I vomit on Peabody. It shouldn't take much by now.... drive to Louisville after park closes for early morning proximity to said SFKK.
May 30th - enjoy SFKK. ..or try to... ;) Hit Thunder Run, and remember that "Oh, yeah... there is a lot of air after all." Leave early to avoid upcoming stalker content. Hit HW for major coaster blowout lovingly known as SRM. My God! My first SRM. Who woulda thunk it? Try and get some sleep with my new freaky deaky friends. ;)
May 31st - love that HW!!! More SRM, and Zoombabwe, along with that new "other Z" ride.. ;)
June 1st - IB.. because Cornball is God. :):)
June 2nd - SFGam. Try not to pass out from coaster overload... enjoy that smooth B&M flyer!
June 3rd - fly home, and miss you all. Stalkers included.

Let me know who is coming!

Rob - that's some itinerary you got there. I hope you're well rested before the trip, because you're going to need it. SRM is a blast but ERT is a *very* strenuous workout. Jim and Flare can attest that I give excellent neck and back rubs...feel free to ask me for one.

Moosh - can't wait to see the look on Rob's face when *INSANE MODE*[tm] kicks in!

Moosh, will u be hitting CP, WoA, or PKI? I'd love to meet u as well. I think I'm probably gonna be able to get off, I'll let you know when I find out. P.S. I may sleep in my car one nite to avoid a room, are there rest areas near where I can park for that? I'm also wanting something nice enough to be able to clean up the next morn, course these parks do have water parks, ;). I'll let you know soon if it's kosher(sp?) and if i'll be there, but i'm supposed to hit NC and Carowinds the 10th and 11th....

Robo, that's great. Sounds like some of our trip will coincide.

I know CPlady will be joining us for CP on Tuesday. Jess might join us on Wednesday at SFWoa. Danny on Thursday at PKI, and then many others for the rest of the trip. :) Any other takers?

Nope. My trip is a mere 2.5 days long. SFKK and SRM on Friday, SRM on Saturday, IB and fly home on Sunday.
