Petie, what did you and your partner do for the video?

I'd love to tell you about the video, since I was the one with the video camera, but I think that honor should go to Petie, since he and my daughter were the ones who came up with the script. I will give you a couple of hints however, since it was made in Feb. in NE Ohio, there is snow included and it is a comedy. They did a wonderful job, but it took awhile, had to keep re-taping they had me laughing so hard, I couldn't hold the camera steady.

Oh, being 50, where were opportunities like this when I was spending every other weekend at Euclid Beach!!

1st question is are you a member of a coaster club?
Would this count...I am not a member of the Coaster Buzz Club but could I use coasterbuzz for this?

I'm not sure 'yes' is automatically the best answer to that question... I'm sure they're not going to fill the show with just ACE'rs or anything like that... I'd bet they want a nice mix of different kinds of folks. I'd go ahead and be honest, and say 'no, but I'm actively involved with an online rollercoaster community'.

If this is the same show Kiko from Discovery Channel talked about at Solace it should be pretty interesting. She showed a few audition tapes and IIRC Robb & Elissa are going to be on the show. Many of the audition tapes were funny including their's. You should have heard the crowd laugh in disbelief when R&E said that "we love SFMM..." Riiiiiight.

Anyway it should be a good show and I wish all the participants luck ;)

BULLER - yes, Kiko showed the tape with the two twins...they were funny. Are you one of them?

Robb Alvey and Elissa "soon to be Alvey" White are the two responsible for those great coaster tapes the last few years. While they do post here occasionally you'll find them mostly over at WestCoaster forums. You can find info about them and their videos here.

Mamoosh - Please tell me how you know that those two have already made the show. The reason I ask is that my daughter and Petie are in the top twelve and when the producer called me, she told me no team has been chosen yet, the top five are to be selected after the questionnaire is returned and the physicals. She just called this past Monday, so how do you know they are already selected? Please let me know about this.

Also, did any of the videos have snow in them?

CPLady - Glad to know I'm not the only 50 year old who still has a young heart! Of course, that's what riding coasters does for a person, keeps them young at heart!

Yea, petie and my daughter faxed in the questions saturday, but, boy is this frustrating! After you fax, you're suppose to call and tell them you did and make sure they got it, well, nobody there since saturday morning when we started to call. Guess we'll try again tomorrow to make sure they got the fax. Next is the physical, my daughters is tuesday morning, then mail that in , and then i guess it will be the waiting game.

So everyone, like I asked before, keep your fingers crossed for them.

Oh, again to Mamoosh, still want to know how you know that Robb and Alissa already made the show??

I only ask cuz of all my daughter and Petie are having to go thru right now, all the sending this and doing that. So I really want to know if Robb and Alissa are going thru all this, but, if, like you say they already made it , then they are not going thru all this. So, how about letting me know about this? Thanks for your help
