Discovery Channel Reality Show

well I dont know...they said when we send in our pictures for the website there are to be no logos...I dont know...

yeah I got an email this morning telling us that we cannot wear logos of any kind...they will provide a shirt for the show! Whoo!

I get my physical today...talk about waiting till the last moment...they are due tomorrow!

Almost there, took pictures today for web site, promos, etc. Sending them tomorrow. Hopefully, last time to the post office or fax machine, feels like I've been there more times in the last week or so, than in my entire life, but that's what moms do. Oh, still have to go shopping for the right type of clothes, Petie probably won't have to get much, but you moms out there know a 17 year old girl will have to have new stuff!!

To the twins, please let us know if you get a call for a coaster shoot (and i think you will), so we can look forward to seeing you two. But, I agree with Paris, they have to go with diveristy, all different types of teams. But personally, I think a team of twins would have been awesome! Even though you would be competitors against Crystal and Petie.

This is kind of a dumb question but - What are you going to be doing on the show? I never really found out what the whole show was about.

And what would a reality show be without a prize at the end.....

they are not really telling what the contests are...

they will not tell the prize either but I have guesses...but I won't tell! muhahaha

Who's paying for the flight and hotels and stuff? Is it you or the Discovery Channel?

I would imagine that Discovery is at the very least paying for the lodging costs, and likely will have all contestants stay at the same hotel for convenience sake.

Discovery is paying for everything. And all are staying at a hotel across the street from SFMM. Getting flight information in the next day or so, and airline tickets by Friday. Little did I know, that when i suggested to Crystal that she and Petie should send in a tape for the fun of it, that it would get to this point. So, if this show continues to next year, all of you send in a tape, because you never know what might happen.

Also, once the kids leave for CA, don't think we will be able to give too much more information. Don't want the viewers to know what the challenges are or who the winners are.

Petie still might have a few other little things he can tell you as far as some of the stuff from the last email, but thats up to him. Just don't expect to hear to much from us after the kids leave, until the show airs on tv.

I'm wondering, and I don't know if this has been mentioned or not, what are your first names so I can cheer for you?

That's definitely fair. They will probably make you (and your daughter and Peter) sign non-disclosure agreements where any prizes won may be forfeited if you do spill the beans.

So go have the time of your life -- but then make sure you come back the night the show airs so we can hear about all of the behind-the-scenes things that happened.

I totally respect the privacy of the cast and the show. I wouldn't expect that much more information be given out for all of us. This is pretty cool that we got a couple people from here going on the show.

Just wanted to let you know, Peters mom is the adult going to CA, they could only pay for 1 adult guardian per team. and i have a younger one here at home, so it was going to be tought for me to make the trip. But crystal will be calling everyday and she is allowed to tell me the details, but it stops at me. But i can still post little updates, like what the hotel is like, etc. lol

when I get back it is going to be so hard not to tell! But I am sure I can do it!

But the night after the show trust me I will post EVERYTHING!

Is it too early to say when the show is going to air?

they have mentioned around Memorial Weekend...their usual coaster weekend...it could have changed

Well, everything is in place and ready to go. Crystal and Peter leave from the airport at 8:00AM Monday morning, to California to film the show.
