Did you guys ever stop to think that to form a concrete tube it has to be formed in something? Hence the galvanized pipe. This is probably cheaper and easy then sticking metal in the gorund and pulling it out after the concrete has cured. My freinds pole barn is the exact same way although the pipe is only about a foor around as opposed to the three feet we see on S:UF.

I would assume that dirt will be piled up around it. I belive SFoG's S:UF has the same sort of deal.

Looks like some of you will be in for a surprise. I just got back from No Coaster Con and they strongly hinted it at being a Superman themed coaster. Two of the public relations employees made a video hinting at the Superman name and did a whole skit which even included the Superman music. I did have the chance to ask one of the pr's if the ride was going to be a clone or orginal design. She replied by saying "yes" to both, that the coaster will be similar but longer.

Really? That's awesome... I wonder what the addition is gonna be to make it "longer".

Maybe it'll have an extra helix or something or maybe taller.

CoasterDude518, I highly doubt it will be taller the S:UF at SFOG because remember SFGAM is probably going to stay below the 125 foot mark since they haven't requested a variance. Its almost definite the ride will be under 125 feet.

I forgot to mention two small things. The first is that the pr's said we would not be flying over parking lines so they do plan on doing some landscaping. And the other is that the blue side on American Eagle will be running backwards again.

Great News! I hope it gets another inversion maybe another inline twist.

because that is the date they set to have their press conference ...why did CP wait until they did... Because they wanted to...

The CP Rep at NoCoasterCon stated he wanted to announce in September, but higher ups wanted it held until January...so, it was held until January...Undoubtedly, it is same situation for SFGAm...

That's awesome we're gonna go backwards on AE again... sweet! That was the only reason I decided to go on AE last year cause forwards just didn't do it for me...

Wouldn't it be awesome if this was the actual design of the ride?!
