SFGAM 2003 Construction Photo's

I saw a crane by it (inside the helix) I assume its getting re-tracked.

Does the torn up parking lot and dirt piles = a tunnel?

We can only hope.

Without getting out there and looking first hand at the construction site it is hard to tell how much land is actually being taken up. Shockwave took up so much room and Superman won't even come close to that much coverage.

My pictures cannot compare to the ones in the link from RagingBullet. I did not go onto the park property to take the photos so my shots are all from a distance.

I can report that there was no visible contruction going on today, however.

did you post your new pics somewhere?

Riding the Bull anywhere but the back is merely going for a walk.

American Eagle red is getting retracked in the helix. it'll be open.

Surfs up in Hollister, CA! Later Dudes...

Does that mean red will be forward? I sure hope so. AE backwards really hurt.

Wood Rules!

You have got to be kidding.

'out the 100Base-T, through the router, down the OC3, over the leased line, off the bridge, past the firewall......nothin' but Net.

He is Beast Freak, his name has the name of one of the most viscous lateral slamming coasters out there and AE backwards hurt him? WTF?

Actually the last helix on AE backwards was pretty brutal, I thought. Watch your legs!

Backwards on AE was not bad at all. I found the ride to be pretty much painless (sure there's certain parts of the ride). Much better backwards than forwards, I thought...

RagingBullet,

After looking at my pictures, and noticing that not much could be seen in them, (especially compared to your link) I did not post them.

RagingBullet,

Your pictures hurt my eyes. They're pretty darn blurry.

If you are going to critique someone's shots, X, you should go take better ones...Unfortunately, taking photos facing south in the winter is a tough task. Between the sun being so low in the sky and general "haze" outdoor shots using digital cameras (or any camera) that do not have full manual modes, you get photos that have sun distortion.

Hey X,

Whenever you wanna post better pictures, I'll be waiting.

Just wanted to give a park update - (no pictures till the weekend).

The pretzel Loop supports are coming along as two or three more supports are now up. This is about all that has changed since the weekend.

Another thing on American Eagle. While passing the park on I-94 you can see the first turn of the Barrel being re-tracked. Hopefully this will mean more speed and less shaking.

Till the weekend - Later.

Great! Another great season coming up... :)

Is anyone else tempted not to get a season pass and just get their coaster fill by going one day the first weekend in November? Then again, it's not a last minute thing like last year, so I imagine more people will know about it and it'll be packed.

I will still get a season pass

Whats red yellow and blue at SFGAm...???

You know how people have made computer renderings of what a ride would look like at a park... has this been done yet for Superman as SFGAm?
