Yeah, as much as I hate to admit it, it's one of those freakin' Intamin Impulses.
Those low-capacity, low-reliability, high-cost intamin Impules.
There's about 500 feet between the first and last painted 'X' and they're all in a fateful straight line....as if the new ticker feature on the website announcing the launch of KidTrack wasn't a huge, obvious hint I didn't wanna hear.
Why oh why can't VF spend a $10 million dollar budget on something that LOOPS?

The real question is: When am I gonna get my $10 million back and how long is it gonna take?
ROFLMAO.....the whole issue of "neglected" parks and "preferred" parks and all the whining about which parks gets what rides, etc., etc. boiled down...
bill thinks the 3rd gen impulse selection is very good for "rounding out" the experiences and fills several missing elements....launch, shuttle (backwards travel!), inverted.....but has to wonder why he feels a sudden need to refer to himself in the third person....perhaps disassociative disorder is contagious around the 'buzz?...
...but I haven't been to either park yet, and I've got this CF pass burning a hole in my popcket....

Capacity won't be an issue. I've never even seen the park unbareably crowded. If I can manag the wait for V2 @ SFGAm, then the wait for an Impulse at ValleyFair will be a cakewalk, even on the busy days.

Where?
I didn't notice any additonal activity yesterday. Did you witness this or just 'hear something?'

I keep hearing about these markings in the parking lot. And have seen the photos on the net. However, i dont see how these markings could mean anything coaster related. How can markings in a parking lot even be related to a coaster is beyond me.
2 coasters? I wouldn't over do it now. CF is probably going to spread the wealth among all the parks, not place 2 coasters in one park.

When survey equipment precedes the markings and those markings are accompanied with a core sample, they are.
Not to mention it's been the worst-kept secret ever.....employees have been talking about it since April, all with the exact same story.
Two coasters? Not hardly. The 'footer' story is a load of bunk. The area by High Roller holds a shed, a picnic area and overflow parking. There's no coaster-building going on there.
If any delivered parts were to be staged, they would more than likely be in the employee parking lot, out of the GP's sight --save for PT riders who know exactly where to look.

They didn't call Talon, Raptor. It is a possibility, but Cedar Fair only seems to re-use ride names in the Challenge park area or for a ride of a different type but having the same name as a different ride type at another Cedar Fair Park.

“If you give a enthusiast a footer.......He’ll want a coaster!!!"
Yeah, right....orange.
Why don't they paint it orange with red trim and name it 'Horns of the Devil?'
