Holiday World...A Flawless Park?

The park doesn't nearly have enough rides to compete against any other major parks.

You ride Raven, Legend, the very few crummy flats they have, the so-so water rides, the water park and your done b4 lunch time.

Park is a waste.

2 good coasters thats it.

Could HW use a little more expansion....sure. Are they going to go out and spend themselves into debt and get bought out by Mega-Parks, Inc. - don't think so. Do they have two of the best-maintained coasters on the planet - YES! Do they treat you like a person, even a (gasp) GUEST, yes...are they FAR more concerned about the friendliness and cleanliness aspects than other parks....yes! (Perhaps they could ship a little air freshener to MiA - they sure could use some)....;)

To each their own, but I think the park is a gem. Each of Holiday Worlds three flags is worth about ten "six flags".

Paula -- that's great news. Congratulations!

PatMan -- you're entitled to your opinion, but it's clearly in the minority in this circle, and judging by that 22% increase, the minority in the general public as well (there aren't enough enthusiasts out there to account for that large an increase)

Eh, don't worry yourself about Mr. PatMan......Every discussion has to have its token nay-sayer, after all. It's not his fault somebody peed in his Cheerios this morning. ;)

I went to Holiday World for the first time this year and I will make it a point to return every year. I brought $50 for food and drink and left with $40 at the end of the day. I went not knowing about the free drinks. The people are nice, the pathways litter free, bathrooms clean. It is one great park. I must say that I was extremely impressed. A flaw? I would say it is a little small but that was something that I really liked about it. I didn't have to go from one ride to the next in order to make sure I got everything done. Paula you have a great park and keep it up.Magnum force I would have to agree with you. A few more rides but something that would fit in and not take over the park would be nice.

PatMan... crap, I can't think of anything nice to say that the censor won't kick out.

If I had even one of the two coasters that Holiday World has near me, I would very nearly live in a perfect world. Yours must really suck. ;)

IMO it lacks NOTHING. I like goin to the small parks with only a few rides. They're the best kind.

I don't think that anyone has the right to attack PatMan just because of his opinion about a park. He has a right to not like HW, or any park for that matter.

Maybe the staff is too friendly? That's the closest thing to a flaw that I can come up with. :)

Why is everyone attacking PatMan? Because HW is so close to our hearts that it feels like a *personal insult* when someone puts it down!

That right there proves again how superior HW is.

There is no such thing as a flawless park. Every park has maintance problems, lines, costs money, isn't open 24/7, ect. But Holiday World sure looks and sounds like one of the best parks.

Hey I was being critical of the park but I still love the park, PatMan on the other hand is starved for attention.

And remember...only God is perfect. :)

(Did you know that quilters always leave a flaw in their work for that reason? And there's always a mistake in stained-glass windows for the same reason. I think that's cool.)
