Holiday World...A Flawless Park?

2 train op on Raven? I hate to say never, but...it will NEVER happen. The longest I had to wait for Raven at SRM 2001/2002 was 30 minutes, and that was when the line was out to the queue entry. Its not needed.

Paula,

Thanks for the feedback. As many times as I've been to HW (been a proud Raven rider since 1996), I hadn't noticed that row of flags before. I suppose thats another sign of how things have changed in our culture. Before the flags would have just been assumed to be a nautral part of the theming for a 4th of July section, just another piece of theming, now they just seem to stand out more.

I hinted at it in my trip report, so I may as well ask, I recall counting 14 flags in the Avenue of Flags, is there any symbolism to the number of flags, or am I thinking WAY to much into it.

Ummm...there is no significance to the number. Actually, up until 1999 we had 20 flags. Then we added a Pepsi Oasis building in 2000 and the Avenue was shortened to 14.

I guess a *good* PR person would weave a lovely tale about the 13 original colonies plus Old Glory, but...that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :)

Thanks, Paula

Wow, what a thread.

I was priviledged to visit HW for the first time this last SRM- a trip that in all honesty I never thought I would get to make living out here in CA and all. But I'll say this- it very quickly became one of my favorite parks.

I found plenty there to keep me busy for a full day. And had a fantastic time while I was there.

pacman, or whatever your name is, you might not like it, but that's simply because you don't have a clue what on earth you are talking about. Living very close to SFMM and Knott's, I would very happily take HW as an exchange for either one. Yes, it really is just that durn good.
