Your First Roller Coaster

Mine was the Double Look at Geaga lake. Boy, look how far the coasters have come. Back in the seventies, this was one of the latest and greatest rides, now it's kinda lame. Where will we be in another 20-30 years? Boy, that old Millennium Force sure is boring, only a 300 foot hill!

Holy crap, someone else has actually ridden that! Tell me, was it removed before it collapsed? ;)

My first was Scooby Doo at Paramount's Kings Dominion (then Kings Dominion) in '78. First adult coaster was Rebel Yell the following year.

My first rollercoaster was the jack rabbit at seabreeze in Rochester,Ny. Can you believe i was afraid of the 3rd oldest rollercoaster?!!
Blue Streak at Conneaut Lake Park when I was 3. Squeezed between my parents screaming and crying the entire ride. Didn't get back on a coaster until the Corkscrew at Knott's Berry Farm when I was 10.
My first coaster was Scorpion @ BGT at age 8, although I live in Indiana at the tip of the lake I have and uncle and aunt in tampa bay and we usually go to BGT whenever we visit. Although sadly I wasn't tall enough for Kumba or Montu, and I don't think we were aware at the time that Python existed. But anyways my home park is SFGAm, and my first coaster there was Batman I was 11 when I first went there since then This tuesday will be my 7th visit. I went once in 1998, twice in 2000, twice in 2001, and once in 2002, and I am going again!! Well, That's it. lol

Yeah, I rode it when I was 3 and it scared the crap out of me. So, that was before the things started to collapse, fortunately. That has been gone for a long time because I barely remember it and I have been going to Trimper's for over 15 years.

I'm amazed I missed this thread the first time around.

My first rollercoaster was the Flying Dragon at Walled Lake in Michigan. It was 40 years ago, but I remember it vividly because it scared me to death.
