Your First Roller Coaster

What was the first roller coaster you ever went on in your life?  Mine was the Dragon Coaster at Rye Playland in New York.         What was yours?
My first rollercoaster was the Galaxie at Indiana Beach when I was 4,  I was terrified after that ride and didn't ride another rollercoaster til I was 8.

Actually my 1st coaster was the Vekoma Suspended Looping Mind Eraser at Riverside Park. I was in 8th grade, and till then I had never ridden a coaster. Now I can't get enough!
Mine was Jr. Gemini. I was probably 4 or 5 and I had a pair of sunglasses. I lost them on that ride, and I got mad. I was so mad, my mom got me new sunglasses so I would shut-up, or as she tells me.
Hi everyone! I'm Julie and I'm 14 years old. My home park is SFGAm, and I've been going there since I was a vewwy wittle girl. What can I say, I got hooked!! I'll be posting on here a lot, since I'm always bored and there's nothing to do considering I have a shoulder injury from softball and swimming. Anyways, to answer your question, Rolling Thunder at Great America was my first roller coaster, I think. That was a long time ago, hey? Anyway, I'll be looking forward to talking to you guys!!

Don't eat a turkey leg before going on Iron Wolf. Unfortunately, me and my stomach had to learn the hard way.

My first rollercoaster was Gemini at Cedar Point.

That's the main reason I decided to do the Gemini 100.

My mom also likes to tell a story about how she rode Gemini when she was pregnant with me and THAT'S what happened.  Hahahahaha.  Very funny, yah.

Who is not amused by her mother.

It would have to be the "wonderful" Cedar Creek Mine Ride, back in 1972 when I was seven. I think that is why so many of us in our late twenties and thirties, still ride it every time we go, and yell and holler, like its the best ride in the park, evertime as we return to the station.
-----------------
My first rollercoaster that I rode was the Corkscrew at KBF.  I rode it when I was 5 years old in 1985 and it is credited as being the first modern steel coaster to have inversions (go upside-down).  A little bit of historical value there. . .

My second coaster was the only other rollercoaster at the park at that time. . . Montezooma's Revenge.

All at once the ghosts come back reeling you in now.

Zippen Pippen at Liberty Land. It is truely a classic coaster.
Mine was the Mind Teaser at SFDL. I rode it back in '90 when I was 5. That was before DL was bought by SF, so the ride had a different name and different colors.

My first real coaster was Batman at SFoG. Since then, I've been obsessed with coasters.
