Your First Roller Coaster

Junior Gemini!!!
lol, mine was the *big* Thunder Mountain Railroad at WDW!
My first roller coaster was the Thunderbolt at my homepark, Kennywood. I still remember that first ride with mom and how surprised I was at the drop out of the station.

I think mine was Junior Gemini, it was either that or The Beastie.
Just refreshing the page to the top before it falls to page 2.
The first one I remember was Space Mtn., but I am SURE that I rode Great Adventure's Runaway Mine Train first....

Son of Drop Zone - PKI CoasterCamp I Champions!!!
I don't remember :(

My first coaster that got me started into enthusiasm would be....

First wooden: Villian (in the rain hehe)

First steel: X-Flight (hehe)

What a way to start :)

My starter was the Coaster Thrill Ride at the Puyallup fair.  I rode it when I was 11, so that would be 1977.  In fact, I just rode it this last Monday, and it still kicks.  It doesn't matter that it is only 55ft tall.  It is an ACE classic, with no seat dividers, and no lap belts.  It is intense, loaded with airtime, and pretty sweet....makes me want to ride it again before the fair closes....hmmm....:)

Mine was the matterhorn at Disneyland.  According to my parents, I enjoyed the ride until it got to the Abombidable (sp?) snowman in the ride.  After that all hell broke loose.  That thing scared the s**t out of me.  After that I wouldn't even ride the skyway, because it went through the Mattehorn and past the snowman.  Of course, I would ride it now, so don't think that Im permanently scarred from this or something.  Anyway, the first coaster that I really enjoyed was MR. Twister and the old Elitch Gardens, and it is still my favorite coaster to this day, even though it is now gone.

My very first coaster was the Ninja at SFMM. I was ten years old at the time. I will never forget that ride. I was scared until the first drop. Then the adrenalin kicked in...

My current top 5:
1)Goliath 2)Vertical Velocity(SFMW) 3)Medusa(SFMW) 4)Stealth (PGA) 5)Riddler's Revenge

Mine was Looper at Hersheypark.  I was 12.
There are three possibilities for my first coaster. 1) The Candy Cane Coaster at Santa's Workshop in Cascade Colorado; 2) The Comet Jr. at Nay Aug Park in Scranton PA; 3)Magic Valley Amusement Park in Bushkill(?) PA. I'm not sure if they even had a coaster but I remember going there on several occasions so if there was a coaster I would have ridden it.

Only the Candy Cane Coaster is still running today. My first ride on Jr. Gemini didn't come until last summer :)

everything's better with a banjo

My first coaster would be a rickety ole mouse that was located along the highway near Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.  Too bad it was SBNO for a long time and I believe that it has now been dissmantled.  My first big coaster was the Screamin' Eagle @ SFStL or SF over Mid-America at that time.

Me too.  I think I was about 8 or 9.  So that would be 1981 or '82.   Like nasai, I recently experienced this coaster again.  It's been at least 10 years, if not 20, since the last time.  I was pleasantly surprised with this gem.  John Miller: can enough be said of this coaster God?

The Beastie in 1983 or so. I think that my first "adult" coaster was probably the Racer at that same park.
My first coaster was the Jack Rabbit, a portable mini steel kiddie coaster.

My first "real" coaster was Raging Bull @ SFGAm.

My first coaster was Space Mouintain at Disney World.

that was mine too

My first roller coaster was the Kiddie Coaster at Rye, Playland. Its funny that until I was 11, I was scared of all roller coaster over 15 feet tall. But from then on, I quickly became a hard core enthusiast. I am glad I rode this ACE Coaster Classic at the time because if you are over 55 inched you cannot ride even with a child.
Montezooma's Revenge at KBF
