X Gone at SF Magic Mountain

On Six Flags Magic Mountain's website, X has been taken off of the list as a ride at Magic Mountain. Deja Vu is now being hyped as the new coaster / thrill ride at the park.

I checked this out thinking it was just a hoax but X is really off of their ride list AND they got rid of the ride voting which I know included X. Very interesting...

RCFAN13: The ride is not mentioned anywhere on the site now. It wasnt just replaced on the front page. The list of thrill rides at the park does not include X!

What are the chances of this being true?

My guess is that Six Flags didn't want to lure anyone to the park thinking that X was open, when it's not, so they took it off the site. I highly doubt they're considering removing X. Not when it's become their signature ride.

Edit--- I found that on the generic rides page for all Six Flags parks, not at the SFMM page.

What I find humorous in this is that all the text on SFMM's website keeps saying "Xtreme", "Xiting" and "Xtraordinary" EVen though they do not currently list "X" as a ride there (hopefully for just the time being)...

That sucks about *X*. However, Im not giving up hope in riding it next year. After all, it DID take Superman:TE a year for the bugs to be completely worked out. So, dont count out *X*....

I dont think we will see X back untill after the whole Arrow mess is sorted out. Six Flags even put in a bid for all the Arrow 4D material in exhange for dropping its $6 million claim against Arrow.
I hope X does not take too long to get back running again becuase I want to ride it again sometime. 1 ride is not enough.

I wouldn't be suprised if X is taken out, taken out at least for now. Although I would love to see it stay (which will probably happen) because, hopefully, I will get to ride it this summer. Arrow has gotten themselves into something deep and it's gonna take some time to get out of it. I think that the future holds a good outcome. We just have to sit back and hope that everything does stay smooth for X, Arrow, and SFMM.

All advertising has been pulled regarding X until the ride is fixed, this includes the website. If it remained there, then people would be yelling false advertising. They've done the correct thing.

LOL! How people could gather from that, that a recently opened, $15 million dollar coaster is being removed is absurd. X is a gold mine for SFMM, you'd better believe it's not going anywhere, ever.

What went wrong exactly?

The ride is not going anywhere. It will just be closed for awhile while they "fix it". They took it off so guests will not plan trips to SFMM, hoping to ride X, and then find out that it is closed when they get there.
