Worst Rides Ever!!!

My least favorite coaster would have to be Runaway Train at SFGAdv, most uncofortable thing I have ever been on - 20 years ago and much worst last year when my friend wanted to ride "every" coaster at SFGAdv.

I rode Manhatten Express once, nothing special asside from the heartline role, but not memorably painful. Hercules (Dorney) was very-very rough, too bad it fit the terrain nicely & haven been on Hydra about 10 times last year I don't think they improved the location as much as they think.

From a painful side, being 6'4" - the Shockwave standup at SFGAdv (since relocated) was very painful in the crotch-upper thigh area, while the same ride at PKD wasn't bad at all.

From a physically hurt - but like the ride anyway, was the first time I rode Batman:TR at GAdv. In one of the tight turns I twisted my neck so bad that I was going to the chiropractor for 2 month and had to end up getting a cortizone shot to loosen it up.

Another horrible ride that could have ended a fun day at Geauga Lake was Head Spin. I got beat up so bad, I felt nauseas for the rest of the day, albeit I was still able to ride everything else, but for awhile there, it was touch and go.

'Good one chief'
'What? What'd I say?'

Being a true CSI Geek, I wemt back and got my DVD for the episode and watched it. It's been a while since I saw that one. Lisa's right, never really noticed how hokey that scene was before.

Yeah, Pharoah's is supposed to be located in Vegas, when in fact, I guess it's really in California.

Lisa - Pharaoh's Lost Kingdom is in Redlands, on the drive from Los Angeles to Palm Springs, approx 70 miles east of downtown LA on I-10. Other parks in the area are Scandia in Ontario and Castle Park in Riverside.
ANY VEKOMA INVERTED! (I've heard these things Euphamastically Called "Hang and Bang - Credit then Forget it!"
Mean streak at CP was one of the worst. Not only the first hill brake bites on the first hill but I swear this thing could realy kill someone with how rough it is. The layout after the second hill is really boring. It's just out and back with almost no airtime,Headchoppers,ect..I wish they would tear it down and build at least a decent enjoyable coaster there. Wait now after that already known rant that I have just said I'll put MS right behind the dragon coasters at the town fairs. I still think that is more enjoyable than MS. Thank you and have a nice day.(even though I hate MS I will ride it this year so I can say I rode all 16 coasters at CP. The last time I was there I couldn't ride Jr. Gemini because I didn't have my sister with me.

Get three servings of Family Guy every day. It's healthy for your soul.
I completely agree that MS at CP is the worst i have ridden. No matter where i sit on that ride my lower back is always killing me afterwards.
On a side note im heading to Kings Island this summer for the first time and I'm curious how you guys think the roughness of SOB compares to MS.

No lie there. My first invert ride ever was on Hangman (now Kong at SFMW). That ride was so rough my ears hurt for days. After the lap, one lady on the unload platform started to freak because she had blood running down both sides of her neck from her earring backs repeatedly stabbing her from all the head banging.

I am very curious about the context of some of these ratings.

Of you who consider Mean Streak the roughest ride you've ever been on, how many have ridden SOB or Hurler? Or for that matter, any coaster at Carowinds, which, in all due respect, surely has the poorest coaster maintenance of any major park in the country ?

I rode the Hurler at PKD the first year it was open and I didn't have a problem with it. I haven't been to PKI since 1999 due to children. I was last there the day they put the first wood in for SOB so I obviously have not ridden it yet. I have never been to Carowinds.

You have disturbed the forbidden temple, now-you-will-pay!!!

To me, SOB is rougher than MS, but it's also fun. MS is just a rough and boring coaster.

Thanks floorless fan.

And to trekker i really dont have a very high track record so MS is only the roughest in comparison to the 40 or so coasters i have been on.
