Planned parks: Astroland, Knoebel's, Hersheypark, SFNE, SFGadv,SFGam,CP,PKI,PKD,PCW,HW,Indiana Beach,SFWOA,SFKK,SFDL,SFSTL,Lakemont,DelGrosso's... Need I say more?
Yes I know WOF has lots of room on the outside of the Park but I also know there lots of open space on the inside of the park too. The area behind the Boomerang and The Old Plunge Lot is a good example of the large area (perfect for a inverted Beemer). Also there's a large area between Camp Snoopy and the Fourm (good area for a Roller Soaker family coaster). I also found a large area which is used as a pond right next to The Timber Wolf (This spot is perfect to move boomerang there also maybe a huss frisbee). Another Space which may not be real big is an area between The Orient and the Scandinavia section of the park (I think this space should be used for a new improved Viking Voyager).
The largest space WOF can free up is to include OOF on the same ticket and use the land OOF sits on for more rides and coasters.
PS: Cedar Fiar didn't come up with the name Golden Eagle I did see http://www.worldsoffun.org/community/wofforum1.asp?threadid=4069&forumid=3 for where I came up with it. The reason I came up with that name is becasue the name is very fiting in any section of the park. A Golden Ealge is a bird of prey that can be found in varrious lands.

Why do they report power outages on TV?
I certainly hope they add a coaster this offseason. The python plunge area would be perfect for an inverted. I think they should save the front of the park for something big.
Does anyone know what kind of attendence numbers WOF pulls in?
I hope CP is building a resturaunt and saving their money for us in KC.

WOF's annual attendence has been bouncing around in recent years. Normal they come in just above a million, but a couple of recent years have been under. Amusement Today lists them in the 1-1.5 annual attendence for the Brass Ring awards.
I fully believe that either WOF or Valleyfair will get a coaster next year, however I don't believe they both will. I also do not see CP adding another coaster next year even though everyone thinks they will. Look at the past.

Let me think why CF would give a coaster to WOF over VF.
The main reason would be stiff competition of nearby parks. VF has hardly any and they already have more coasters than WOF. SDC is redevloping the Branson USA park and adding 2 big ones in that park and maybe something at SDC.
I'm also hearing from people that they rather visit SDC then WOF.
Also by adding a coaster at WOF for 2003 it would help make them a better park than SFStL.
If they pick VF over WOF to have a new coaster that would be a dumb move on Cedar Fairs part.

Good points Sawblade. However, I believe that the B&M inverted coaster would fit better next to Orient and behind the Grand Prix Raceway. Here's why I think so:
1. The Beat Street USA section of the park is totally dead, in fact, despite the fact that WOF is my hometown park, I didn't even no it existed until a visit in April. The entrance to the inverted coaster would most likely be in that area of the park, which would bring a little life back into Beat Street USA.
2. The Golden Eagle name would fit better in the Americana section than any other section of the park.

Yes I would think moving or removing the Skyliner (which never runs at full capacity) Redo its entryway and put The Inverted by, intertwening, or above the Orient Express.
If the Ferris wheel gets moved it should go right beside the Le carousel ride in the Europa section of the park. The section I'm thinking of is where they used to have remote control cars but they got rid of it the wheel would fit perfectly there. Then the ride should be called Le Ferris Wheel. By puting this ride right on that spot would increase ridership alot on this ride and will pay off.

Thunderhawk really made the back area by Timberwolf more crowded. Now there is a dippin dots back there and 2 pepsi machines. This place is now crowded.
If they did the same with Beat Street and added Golden Eagle back there, it could make that area more crowded and visited.

As someone who only lives 3 hours from WOF, I would love to see an inverted come to KC.
After SDC opened Wildfire, WOF needs to build something big
