I am a web developer in Milwaukee WI. I am happily married to a non coaster rider, Shannon.

Favorite coaster is now X-Flight @ SFWOA, overtaking Raging Bull just this year in my book. I havent riden alot of coasters yet, just getting started in all of this coaster enthusiast stuff. I have ridden around 50 distinct coasters right now and have another 20 or so planned for next year along with all my other favorites.

My other hobbies include scuba, computers, writing, and travelling to even non coaster destinations :)

Cheers,

Hi, my name is Scot, I am a police Officer in upstate New York.  I live 15 miles east of Niagara Falls.  I am 34, happily married with 2 children, a girl 5 years  and a son 2 years.  I have a associates degree in criminal Justice.   I live approx. 20 minutes from SFDL and 2 hours from PCW, and approx 4 hours down the thruway from CP.  My wife is a huge coaster lover as I am.  In 2000, my wifes company went on strike in August, at the last minute, we dropped the kids off at her mothers and left for Cp for 2 days of riding the coasters.  We didn't make it last year, but plans are under way for our 2002 trip, this time with the kids.   Gotta get them trained so when they get old enough, they'll ride the coasters with us.

My hobbies include, running, swimming, golfing and Riding coaster (That goes without saying).

I'm Batman.
If you can't figure out my name, you need help ;) I'm 24 years old, from Columbus, OH. I played in a very popular ska band for about 3 years on the road, but now I'm just a boring corporate guy who owns his own verizon/cingular wireless agency. I'm getting married this Saturday (pray for me) and I'm trying like hell to convert my fiancee into an enthusaist as well. I am finishing my undergrad at OSU, and I spend most of my day hanging out in my office reading CB and IMing on yahoo (id=cheaptrick43212). I've learned a great deal about coasters from all of you, and I can't wait to start riding again in the summer.

Take care :)

i live in a surburb of cleveland and i play golf basketball and baseball for my school. I play bass guitar pretty good and i think led zeppelin is the best.

I have u know about a 3.5 grade point average, and i am not in any clubs for school ( except for sports). my favorite coaster is millenium force or magnum, and my favorite tv show is the simpsons.i am refered at my school as "wee man" "duff puff" "duffro" "duffer" and the list goes on and on

Hi.  I'm Jim, and I'm a coasterholic.  I'm also an engineer and a technofreak.  I'm involved in industrial design and construction sometimes dealing with the same people who build coasters.  I have a thing about people who abuse statistics since they give a very useful tool a bad name.

I'm 52 years old which makes me ancient in this crowd.  I have 2 teen age daughters who also love coasters and a wife who rode a mine train once and won't ride again.

I'm hoping to get a business trip this summer to Germany and India that will let me try some of the coasters in those countries.

My name is Matt. I am 22, live in Millersville, MD (Premier Rides and Intamin offices less than a mile from my house!). I work part time at a UA movie theater in a mall, free movies, hell yea! I am a full time student at UMBC. Other than coasters, my interestes include going to and renting "good movies". I love going to rock concerts, I have been to about 26 concerts, every thing from the Rolling Stones, to Metallica, and 5 HFStivals. I used to live in Martinez, Calfornia ( 1 hour from PGA), until my family moved here in 1995. I didn't enjoy moving to the east coast, but it REALLY paid off with the awesome amusement parks and coasters out here. I play electric bass guitar and used to be in a couple of bands a few years ago. As for coasters I have ridden 115 on the east, west and mid-west. My first coaster was Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland when I was 3 years old! I cried the whole way. I remember it all. I hated coasters for the next 6 years until my parents got me on one again and they created a monster! Hehe.

Gravity is your friend!
Like dmb-crush and PKI-is-the-best, I too am a huge Dave Matthews Band Fan.  My name is David (as if you haven't already been able to guess) and I'm from New Jersey, and I'm glad about it...I love the Garden State!  My home park is SFGAdv, and I live near the Cyclone, Dorney, Kennywood, Knoebels, Compounce, and SFNE.  I work at the good ol' A&P, I'm 16, and I'm a junior in high school...I'm outgoing, funny (right, Kara?), sexy (RIGHT, KARA?!), and I like long walks on the beach, candlelit dinners, and sharing them with reasonably attractive to downright gorgeous coaster girls...any takers?    I'm a HUGE music fan...I play three instruments (though I haven't REALLY played the piano in a LONG time), including the guitar and the alto sax, and I like going on the computer much, working on my website(s), and playing video games.  I've had good times with great friends, and as a result, have gathered a HUGE score of inside jokes (right, Kara?).  Hanging with friends (especially bowling and pool) is always fun, but my real passion is my band, Undercurrent.  We play kickass rock (right, Kara?) and we're looking to make a big mark someday.  I'll have a website up soon for anyone who's interested!  Later!

My name is Ray, and I beat all but two of you for age, being 51. I've been all over the country with my wife and two sons to numerous parks since the late 70's, and have been quite fascinated with the way parks and coasters have evolved.

We live in Spokane, WA, 45 miles away from Silverwood, home of the highly-rated Tremors and Timber Terror (very similar to Cincinnati's Coney Island "Shooting Star"), both CCI's.

I spent almost 30 years in Christian broadcasting until I lost my job this year due to budget problems. The whole radio arena is getting worse, so now I am a sub-custodian for a local school district, and hope to be fulltime.

We all enjoy traveling, many things Disney, and good wood and steel coasters. My favorites are usually woodies, I guess because they have such a rich and fascinating (almost mythical) history, not to mention all the wonderful new ones coming from CCI and GCI. I am also an ACE member, and enjoyed the ACE Summer Conference at Silverwood in 2000, plus the recent ACE Day at Playland in Vancouver, B.C. It's amazing to see all the coaster fans out there!

I enjoy old Disney animated shorts/full-length features, and the old Disney movies and TV shows, like Zorro and Davy Crockett. Oh, well, I'm old, so what do you expect? :) Hey, I like Star Trek, Star Wars, and Babylon 5, so I'm not THAT old!

Let's hear from some other older people, okay?
