Okay, I know I waited a long time for PCar's Vortex its opening year, but don't remember how long. The longest I can remember waiting in line was 2.5hrs for Millie. I got 2 rides on TTD and waited a cumulative less time than that!
I don't wait for coasters or rides much anymore. It killed me to wait 75 minutes for Collosuck, but thankfully my friend Jamaal, Tim Danner, Kyle (Recess) and his lady were there to keep me company. Just ask Kyle and Tammie about the Fastlane kids ;).
My longest wait is just under four hours (waiting for rain to stop most of it) back in 1979 for the Beast.

Now, I don't mind Fastpass or the like within reason, but a 75 min. wait for 1 train op on a coaster that can run 6 trains on 2 sides? Unacceptable. So I started running my mouth. Ask Kyle about the look on that kids face ;).
I thought they were only suppossed to allow a "few" Fastpass people on at a time? That's the way it worked at Great America and with Qbot at Great Adventure.

waited 2 and half hours for raptor like 2 months ago too. *** Edited 8/21/2005 10:30:20 PM UTC by Dr. DOOM 1289***
CP was amazing, going back next June to ride Maverick
Clint, the ERT on X was just amazing. But after 4 rides I was done. I heard the line swelled to a good 4 hours after the park opened, though.

It's a little pricey but I think it's worth it, at least it was for me and my friend when we visited the park this past June.
You should at least give it a try. :-) The day I was there the Bots sold out very fast, so I would get one ASAP. Everytime I have been to Great Adventure it's been PACKED, even in the off-season.....so expect crowds.
Have fun! :-) Say hi to Ka for me.

Get your Bot first thing and RUN to Ka (hopefully it will be open at opening...lol.)
Our timing with Ka was perfect. When we got to the park it wasn't open, so we went to get the Qbot (which was a 25 minute wait).
Once we got it we rushed over to the Golden Kingdom to see what was going on with Ka. For some insane reason the park doesn't operate Ka in the rain. Well, it was more of a "mist". Strange. I guess the midwest parks have different rules about riding in the rain. :-P
Anyway, we got to the ride and found out they were letting people in the queue, so we went for it. They didn't get the ride going for about another 2 hours, after that we waited about 20 minutes (we were pretty close to the front).
After we rode the line was an easy 4 hours at least, maybe more.
So if you see Ka running, GET THERE, or at least Bot it ASAP. After our first and only ride we decided to Bot it for another one, but that wasn't until 5pm. By that time it had broken down several times. The cool thing about Bots is they tell you when a ride is down (not that that's a good thing but at least you know).
