What's the longest anyone has waited for a coaster

2.5 hours for Millenium Force's front seat, and it was not worth it....... After that I figured out that my limit is 2 hours, because any longer than that it detracts the whole ride experience. I can, however wait in a bazillion one hour lines because that doesn't bother me, but 2.5 is just to long for me.

^I have you beat, Brian. I have waited for 33 years, 8 months for a hyper at Camden Park. ;-)

The summer Stealth opened at PGA we waited 3 1/2 hours in the hot sun with no shade. When it was our turn to get on, the ride broke down and closed for the day. After that we rode the Grizzly which pounded us into the conclusion that PGA sucks. *** Edited 8/17/2005 5:30:14 PM UTC by rc-madness***
Like many others here, I waited approximately 5 hours for TTD on opening day. Absolutely worth the wait.

I've waited 4 hrs. multiple times for KK, not because I wanted to, but because it broke when I was "right there" and I felt really stupid leaving when I'd already invested an hr and a half. In fact, this last weekend, I was on the launch track and got rolled back into the station backwards and then had to wait 2 more hrs. for the rear switch track to get fixed.

Which day was that this past weekend ? I rode KK twice by 12:00 on Saturday. Later on in the afternoon, I came back for the Wild Safari and didn't see any KK launches for quite a long time. Was the problem on Saturday afternoon ?

The longest wait i had was probably for Italian Job Stunt Track this year. I got a pass for 230 pm and i didnt get on it until about 530. The strange thing was the que wasnt open alot for many breakdowns, and such. We just so happened to be there when they opened back up, so we got on the second train out after they reopened. Does that count as a wait?

I would have to say in a line, probably two and half hours, for millenium force at night opening year. Also the same for TTD second week it was open.

The new coasters this year, ie hydra and Italian job without problems have been mere walk-ons so i would say wait time is down, or what rides outside of Ka are getting some rediculous waits?

Resident Arrow Dynamics Whore

around 3 hours for MF at night, at least we had entertainment as people were smoking in line and others were yelling at them and this was when they had a D.J. in the queue and he was going with it until somebody from the park came over and made them quit smoking. That made the rest of the wait awful.

3 hours for X at SFMM in the middle of june. They had 1 train running, plus no control in the station, so line cutting was rampant. Plus, the op working on side decided that 5-6 trains for our row is for disabled people! We screamed at her to be fair to everyone and so every row got the disabled people... which is how it should be or at least, block the last row of that side with a sign saying "reserved for people with disabilities" or something like that.

Yeah. It was Sat. I was on 2nd public train in front, then waited an hr. Then on my third go around, I was seated in the train by 1:15pm but they had to wheel us back in. Didn't get to ride until about 3:30.

Bummer. At least you got 3 rides on the thing. My brother and I went and got our first ride within 1/2 hour. We got a 2nd ride while the line wasn't terribly long. We managed to get both rides in by 12:00. At that point, the line looked to be at least 2 and 1/2 hours. So, we moved on to other rides.

Here is my list, starting from the longest.

3 hours for Mean Streak in 1991

2 hours and 45 minutes for Batman The Ride (SFGAM)

2 hours and 45 mintutes for Raptor

2 hours and 30 minutes for Magnum XL 200 (1st year)

2 hours and 15 minutes for M-Force

2 hours for Funnel of Fear at MA (recent 8/7/05)

2 hours for Mantis at Cedar Point (1st year)

1 hour 45 minutes for X-flight at (Geauga Lake)

I waited just less than 3 hours for....drumroll please....SooperDooperLooper.

Yes, it's true, and I think the year was 1977. I was 9 years old.

I have waited for longer times, due to rain or breakdowns, but believe this was the longest due to a line.

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.
The longest I've waited is 45 minutes for TTD and Volcano. And thats pushing it.

The year Great Adventure opened, I remember waiting over two hours for the log flume. THere weren't too many other attractions that I would consider riding at the time, and since I went with my whole family, we decided to just deal with it.

Now-a-days, even if it is cold at Great adventure (Like it was opening day in March this year), and there's little or no line - I go on it. Just to retaliate for that first time.

Ouch...sounds like KK still has problems.

The Longest ive ever waited was...

4½ hours for MF
1½ hours for Italian Job at PCW
2 Hours for TopGun at PCW
1½ Hour for BAT at pcw (BOOMERANG) <-- i was nuts
2½ Hours for Mantis at CP
3 Hours for Superman Ride of Steel at SFDL
2½ HOURS for Nightmare at Phantoms Cave - SFDL
75 MINS. Wicked Twister

My longest wait was for the Beast. It was the summer of 2000 and my first time going. We had season passes so me and my dad rode all the coasters except SOB which was down and not working. Our last one to ride was the Beast and it had a massive line but I had waited a few years to be able to go to PKI and we decided we were riding it today. We ended up waiting 2 hours.

tears are just as good as sweat
2.5hrs. for Phantom's Revenge shortly after it opened in 2001. 2hrs for Superman: Ride of Steel at SFDL.

I can pretty much handle the long lines as long as the ride is worth it and it's shaded if it's hot out.

Definitley Millie's opening year, about 3hrs.

I rode Raptor that same night and seem to recall a 2-2.5 hr. wait for that.

Go figure.
