Paula, if you need any test dummies just let us know. Many of us hear would jump at the chance.

I'm a little confused- maybe Paula or at least someone with a better understanding than can clarify, please? Will Voyage be running May 8-9? Any news I've heard points to it being open today and tomorrow, but beyond that, all I hear is that there will be further testing. I'm planning a trip next weekend which will go on with or without Voyage... But since I've never been on it before, I'd REALLY like it to be "with".
Yes, Voyage will be waiting for you next weekend, Alex. Timberliner testing will take place outside of park hours.
Thanks, Paula

Cool!
I still dunno how to make these darn urls look good in a message...
CoasterDemon: You do it something like this:

...or you just highlight the word that you want to be a link and then click the button that looks like a globe with an infinity sign on top of it (on the other side of the separator line from the I), paste in the URL, and voila.
The new car looks great! I can't wait to see a whole train!

No, it's there for anyone using IE or Firefox. And it's a chain link, not infinity. :)

I always forget that this thing even has a rich text editor. I changed my account prefs not to ever use is back when it not only worked only on IE, but it caused Safari and Opera to go crashy-crashy on me. I think that was about five forum versions ago. :)
Obviously the lack of a rich text editor on my terminal hasn't prevented me from using the rich text options! :)

^It's ok guys, I'm happy with the way the url I posted showed up - but couldn't see it until it was 'posted' - after I hit the button.
That train does look pretty darn sleek... can't wait to ride those puppies! Is that floor box plastic?!
We were at the park yesterday and could see 3 rows of TL as we got back to the station.
Paula, I would love to hear more details about how the testing takes place, of course with lots of photos and videos.

Im sure Paula will keep us updated :)
They were going to try to do a pull through at least on some of the course to make sure there are not clearance issues. (Shouldn't be) They wanted to do at least a few days of actual running the train testing. At least from what I was told.
The trains themselves still have some atachments and stuff to be put on them after they are on the track, Plus the fact that each car will have the drag link assembly, backup cables ect attached as each car is added. Noticably missing from the video were the lap bars, Above the shoulder steel bar, and the ankle bar on the nose, Both are to be gold annodized like the loading diamond plates. :)
Look forward to more updates myself :) Such as WILL GETTING HIS RIDE :)
Maybe a stupid question and the answer could be, of course, but are the TLs going to be ready for Holiwood Nights? How much wiggle room do you think you're going to have seeing as it's May 3rd and you dont have a full train yet.
Top 5 wood: 1.Hades 2.Voyage 3.Boulder Dash 4.Avalanche 5.Legend
Top 5 Steel: 1.Maverick 2.Fire Dragon 3.Batman 4.Raptor 5.Ice Dragon
They don't have a full train on the track yet. As to anything else, we don't know yet.
HWN is still a full month away. The other thing to note is that daily operations begin on May 14th. I am sure that they would rather be working on them during the next to weeks rather then only during the night.
Just a reminder that if your mailing in your HWN registration it needs to go in by tomorrow. Online registration says May 12th.

Kinda expected to see pics of the trains out on the course in a pull through or something by now. Selfish, I know. Sorry :)
I agree Charles. Have the rest of train 1 arrived? What about train 2? Will they be ready for HWN?
I have already maxed out my body on riding Voyage with PTCs.

Wanted to update you on the new trains for Voyage.
The good news is the manufacturing process is such that only perfection is accepted (we're really impressed). Of course that means the bad news is that it's a slower process than we'd hoped.
We should have a full train on the track for testing early next week. So that means we'll continue to use the original train for this weekend and next.
Beyond that ... we'll keep you posted. Promise.
Thanks for being understanding ... waiting's no fun, but we really believe the results will be well worth it. :)
Thanks, Paula
