^ There was an ACE event at HW this past Saturday. Because they didn't have the TL trains ready they gave everyone there a free ticket to come back so they could ride the Timberliners.
HW is so different from any other park. :)

Just so long as its up and working but June 8th, what looks to be like my only trip to HW for this year (and likely for a while:().
Not sure who took this photo or when, but it was getting passed around the internet last night, and appears to detail the damage that was mentioned earlier: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v215/saginawhxc/DSC_0962.jpg
Bummer... I hope they have the trains ready for HWN.
Looks like they were doing accelerometer testing there...

Yay, I might get to ride the real Voyage again after all!
I volunteer to be your co-partner, But Moosh probably will be roped to you :)
I think if they have one Timberliner ready for HWN weekend, they should run it AND a PTC...
I actually will be somewhat surprised if the TLs are ready for HWN. Let's think about this for a moment, when was the last time some manufacturer introduced a brand new product and had that product work right out of the box?
Interestingly, if this was an Intamin product, this thread would be pages longer, all with flames at Intamin. What I find interesting is the patience and support indicated thus far, which is either indicative of HW, GG, or a combination thereof. Don't get me a wrong, I am not an Intamin fan boy, but just making a casual observation.
I would fully expect that both HW and GG will give the green light when they are absolutely positive it's ready to go, which I am hoping is at HWN.
^If your talking about the TL/PTC train combo operation, how could it have ever been done before. The TL's were just introduced. :) I was thinking about the dual train operation for quite a while now. Unless they plan to sell the other train to Darien after the TL's are ready. It would be a neat event perk.
Though I'm disappointed to be missing my first Holiwood Nights, I'm reassured to know that the TL's will almost certainly be ready for Fall Affair. :)

HWN will be Mooshless this year, I'm sad to say.
Boo!
On that note, it sucks that I actually decide to go this year and loriu, ttdaddict, moosh, and so many others AREN'T going.
Maybe they aren't going because you are. :-P

Well I can't speak for Moosh, but I know Lori and Lisa are going to Coastermania.
Are you still only there for Friday nite, Andy?
This will likely be my last HWN for a while unless they have it on Memorial Day next year (and even then I don't know that I'd go). Although in the end I'm glad it isn't Memorial Day this year, because I wouldn't have been able to go.
Yeah. We have to drive back to Fort Worth by Sunday morning for work, so there's really no option other than leaving early. We'll be there all day Friday, though.

HWN with the PTC AND the Timberliner!? Woohoo! That would so rock. It would give the masochists a few more rides on the rougher Voyage and the rest of the folks a smoother ride!
That has happened before - the one example I can think of is the NAD and the old PTC train on the Conneaut Lake Blue Streak. Of course, for a limited time.
