Thanks for posting this, zeus. We tried to help by nudging from our fan page late yesterday and they're 100 and change away right now; hopefully by the end of the day we'll get some photos.
Those boys have been pretty skimpy with the photos ...
-- Can't you just hear Korey (a la "Bones" McCoy from the original Star Trek series): "Paula! I'm an engineer, not a PR flak!" --
...but once the trains are here on site, all bets are off. :)
Can't wait! Paula

publish pics now or be tarred and feathered! :)
...well at least then we'd have a new costumed character for the park. Maybe Korey would look like a big raven. :)

So if the trains won't be here till next week that only leaves 2 weeks to get all the bugs worked out.
I am surprised that they are coming so close to the park opening.
Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.
You're assuming there are bugs to be worked out.
Paula - a question that I don't recall seeing addressed: does having the Timberliners require reworking the queue rails in the station?
While we all hope for the best, the prudent park would plan for the worst.

Moosh -- Nothing major will change in the station queue area this season.
Dave -- We've had a test chassis here for about 6 weeks and all is well thus far.
Thanks, Paula

Okay...so the *good* news is that if you wanted one last ride on the original Voyage trains, you will be able to do that on opening weekend (May 1-2). Due to an unanticipated delay in the manufacturing process, the new train did not arrive today as planned, but will be here in a week. We'll premiere the Timberliner trains on The Voyage by May 14.
We truly appreciate your understanding!

Wait. Aren't the Voyage's original trains at Darien Lake? Or at least... one or two of them? I suppose Predator wouldn't need all three, but I'd imagine they at least picked up two. Does that mean one-train op on the Voyage for opening weekend?

Yes, we kept one of the original trains. With Wildebeest not opening till May 14 (along with the rest of Splashin' Safari), we don't expect crowds opening weekend (May 1-2).
Thanks, Paula

Hmmmm, I feel like Carnac.
I just hope the issue wasn't the fact that they couldn't find the nameplates for the cars because the GG guys have found 101 uses for them.
