TTD waiting for parts

Dearest PlayerPunk: What is your definition of "speculation"? If you go back a few posts, I mentioned how wonderful it is to jump on this site and find 200 people with brand spankin' new degrees in mechanical engineering, minoring in physics. I'm not Einstein, TTD is broke, I haven't put on my hard helmet, driven to the Point and found out why....nor will I. Leave the speculation to the Swiss, instead of talking big using large words to make yourself feel better.

There's nothing like a woodie...

CP has put up an apology on their website. http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/news/ttdstatus.cfm

How did you stumble on that Gamfan? I couldn't get to it from the homepage itself.

I was wondering the same thing.

When I went to the homepage, I clicked on the TTD thing in the middle and it went to the TTD site which had a different look and at the bottom of the website, it said check out TTD's status and I clicked it and it said the apology. For some strange reason, it's not there anymore and the website is back to the original way.

You're welcome! :):):)

....but like I said eariler, I'm not quite sure where that quote came from. I think it might have been one of Scott Adams' Dilbert books (not the comics, but one of the "editorial" ones).

Well, in this case, anyone going in the next two weeks(me). It's not good for anyone, probably mostly CP themselves, because this is hurting them.

Check the message a few posts up. They are predicting it will be up by the weekend after next. You'd probably miss TTD if you went those two days.

OK. What is the latest on the up time for this ride. I"ve scheduled a quick trip to CP on Friday, June 13. Aha. Friday the 13th. Is TTD running at this time? I've been able to ride it twice. I just want to know if I should get my hopes up. The last post here is 6/7. Does anyone have current information? It is an awesome ride.
