To quote the second post from that thread: "I thought cedar point was saposed to get a woodie. what r they getting??"

This, my friends, is why we have rules about spelling and grammar here!

Right? It looks like they're not too concerned with spelling on the entire forum as the forum itself contains incorrectly spelled words. Each member has a rating for Activity, Popularity and "Experiance".

Sheesh, if you can't spell "experience" do you really have any business trying to run a forum worth reading?

You got it, Lord Gonchar! Oh, there's a really good idea, rating how popular different members are ;)

This also means an even shorter wait for those Maggie lovers out there!

Not really - remember "the Mantis affect" over in the Millennium Force area. Mantis has had larger queues the past three seasons than in the couple before that."

So what? Raptor is is going to be the only coaster with a tolerable wait? That does it! I'm *never* going to Cedar Point again!

It may draw more people to that area, but when it comes to the first and last couple hours of the day, the high concentration of people will be at the *new* attraction. It just usually happens that way. Sorry that many of us will still love our Arrow.......but don't get me wrong. I love launched coasters, and love the S:ROSs......this will be heaven to me.

Model coasters and rides
My guesses for the things the enthusiasts wont be happy with:
1. not tall enough
2. not fast enough
3. not enough airtime
4. not long enough

Maybe SFWOA wasnt able to afford their hyper for next year due to the disappointing year they had, and they sold it to Cedar Point... ;)

All I need is 4.5 million bucks and a half a mile long sliver of land and maybe someone could build me my very own Shivering Timbers. ;)

I pray to God that this coaster has a underground tunnel.

I hate to keep quoting Jeff, but, because he seems to be our only source of truly reliable information at the moment, I have little choice.

"I'm sure that, while enthusiasts may compain about one aspect of the new ride, the world will not be able to help but take notice... again."

So there. He specifically states "one aspect". If we're disappointed by the Height, than the ride will probably be long: That's great because the world needs more long, launched rollercoasters. If the problem is length, oh well, we're probably still talking over 300ft in heighth. I'm assuming top speed won't be a complaint because if it's tall than it's gotta be fast.

Maybe they devised a new harness that doesn't allow you to raise your arms ;).

Enthusiasts will complain about a lack of bunny hops.... again. Bah, I'm just speculating rampantly along with so many others.

I know what would really make enthusiasts angry: a 400 foot tall, launched Intamin rocket coaster, with an inverted top hat, loops, 4000 feet in length, all high above the Point... all enclosed so you can't see anything. A dark ride that high up would be an absolutely travesty. ;)

Enthusiasts will have the same complaints about CP's coaster that they have for Xcelerator. Too short. "Why couldn't they add some more bunny hops and a helix"? Never mind the fact that you'll be going over 100mph after the first drop!

"Escuse me, can you tell me where the heck the Mystery Lodge is"?

maybe the will call it wicked force or millenium twister since its a combo of both, i doubt that will be the name though.

Has no-one considered that a Rocket Coaster could have LIMs after its launch track at any point(s) to boost its trains along?

Its been considered and rejected. Anyone notice in the pictures the shape of the tracks? The whites are almost straight, but the reds are very gently curved ... I'm just trying to figure out how the colors will lay along the ride. Also, there's a very interesting support ... that large "spider" thing off the large yellow column - any ideas on what thats for?

How has anything I've said indicate that?

It was when you said something about it disappointing some people earlier in this tread and usually when a "spoiled" enthusiast whines about something it has to do height or speed. "Assuming/speculating" that it will be fast I just guessed it would be as tall as people hoped.
